"great service. i’ve been going here since i was younger and honestly it’s a great dentist. they know what they’re doing and have great service. they do great at explaining and the staff is so friendly. i couldn’t think of a better dentist than them"
"Dr. Santos and Julie were fantastic, very gentle and patient with me considering my nervousness. I would definitely recommend them!!"
"Roxana R. Very smooth procedure. Was very detailed and cautious. Made sure I understood everything that was going on & let me know what she would be doing ahead of time. Excellent job!"
"Every time I have an appointment i arrive 5 - 15 min early and am waiting in waiting area atleast an hour. My most recent application was at 1030 and I arrived at 1025a was not seen until after 1140a... The appmnt before that was at 1000 i arrived quarter til, was not called until 1118am....and sat in chair waiting for help for an additional 30min before I asked if anyone was coming to help me. Then the little indian dentist appeared. Stuck her hand in my mouth for 3min and told me she can pull my teeth. I told her that pulling a bunch of teeth wasn't necessary as if had a dentist check my teeth prior and give nr this infi but I did not like their proces so i was looking for alternative dentist. With her 3 min glance she was pushing me to choose to extract multiple teeth unnecessarilym when i asked her about the rest of the issues w my teeth on left side of mouth, basically if i can get a crown over a recent root canal. She told me she is not my primary dentist and wont waist her time or mine looking into my request about options on left side of mouth. I let her know that "I do not have a primary which is why i al here" She then responded, well i didnt take xrays of your full mouth only 1 half, so if youd like to wait another 30min until im done w other patients i can come back and xray your ful mouth. Wow. Just rude. Last time I came to Western Dental was maybe 2013 and I remember them being just as unhelpful. After 10 years I hoped there would have been a change. Jeez. Im only here because I do not want to go to another dentist get exposed to more xray radiation and charges. But good gosh man. Follow up 4 days later. So I didnt end up being seen for myb1030am appointment until after 230lm. Yes, I waited a day in waiting room to be seen Eventually i stood up and asked receptionist to rebook me for another day because I had to go pick up my toddler. It was at that point that The dentist came from the back to say she could help me now and she would be quick. I agreed. She was friendly and quivk w wisdom tooth extraction. Her Hispanic male assistant who suctioned my saliva smelled like pure Marijuana though. Not sure if he just came from a break, but I was a little nervous to have an intoxicated individual helping w anything in my mouth. Of course he too was friendly and joked a lot. After my procedure staff gave me a clear bag w extra gauze and folded papers that they said would explain how to care for my extraction wound. Imagine my shock when I went home, opened pack to begin caring for wound and the paper was in Spanish. So....i had no idea how to care for my wound because I dont soeak Spanish. They were closed ( as I was last patient) so I could not call them, and well now I have dry socket pain that Im trying to manage. I mean i signed several preliminary papers asking me what is my preferred language and I specified English about 3 times. What kind of service is this? So disappointed."
"I was having what I thought was wisdom teeth pain and I went in wanting to see how impacted my teeth are. i went in and x rays went well i went to sit on the chair and waiting for the dentist. the dentist was a lady and she told me that my teeth were really impacted. she told me that i would have to remove them all and i told her i was only having pain in one of them so why did i have to remove all of them and she said insurance would not cover if i removed one. i told her i just wanted that one and we went back and forth for a while. what i did not like was she told me "i dont know what is wrong with you/ going on with you". she told me that braces would be needed and i said i already had them i dont want them again and she said people do not get them for just cosmetics also pathologically and i said but i dont want them and that is when she got frustrated. she told me that i would need a root canal for a cavity that i had (without looking at x-rays as i only asked for the wisdom teeth ones to be taken) on top of that i would have to be ~2600 for a bone dental graft for all four of them. i booked the appointment just to have it secured. i told my mom and she told me to get a second opinion. i went to another dentist and they said i would not need a root canal and my wisdom teeth were not impacted and the pain i was feeling was coming from my gums as they were inflamed and that would go away in 1-2 weeks. she also told me i would not a bone graft and that everything would be covered by insurance except the 95 dollar fee for the nurse. i felt really scammed by this place and how they wanted to do stuff that was unnecessary. i felt attacked by the dentist and how she did not like how i would question her i tried to hard not to have an attitude but i felt like she was not listening to me. i would not recommend going to this place or any western dental as my family has had instances where they are overcharging us."
