"Love, love it here. The team was just simply amazing. The stylist there is so talented. I got my hair cut, dyed and treated by Hasblady and I can't tell you how happy I am with her style and service. Highly recommend and will definitely be back."
"This was the worst blowout and style I have gotten in many years. It started with Learning upon arrival that the stylist/owner, who I scheduled with, no longer had time to do my hair because she accepted previously late clients. So as soon as I arrived, I felt very unwelcome as she tried to push me off onto other stylists , and they all declined because they were all trying to stay on time with their current clients. I have to note she sat me at her station, which was incredibly nasty in appearance. Then she tried to get me to reschedule to another day which would not be possible considering I was there to get my hair done for an upcoming interview. Then she tried to get her very inexperienced assistant to do my blowout without even asking me if that was OK. This was the second out of three visits to this salon whereby once I arrived to my appointment at the salon, the stylist I had booked with no longer had time for me and pushed me off onto someone else. No apologies for doing this and certainly no one was considerate enough to call me in advance to let me know that the stylist I booked with was no longer available to me. So in the end three different people had a hand in my blowout. When the owner/master stylist was blowing out my hair, she handled it very roughly. She was not gentle or customer friendly, and said nothing to me. The temperature was too hot and she was very rough. It was certainly not a customer friendly experience in the least bit!!! and it wasn’t cheap!! In the end, for the styling (which was supposed to be done during the blowout) I was pushed off onto someone who Presented herself in a way that looked like a person I would never have do my hair, given her own hair was actually horrible in terms of being presentable. This is someone I would never want to touch my hair, given the appearance of her own hair, as well as the rest of her overall appearance. I’m not sure how well someone with artificial excessively long nails that are the longest I’ve ever seen can be effective in doing my hair, and it showed!!! Very unprofessional looking. And she did an absolutely horrendous job. I am embarrassed at the results, and clearly I will have to style my own hair in preparation for my interview. Needless to say, I will never return to the salon, even if they were doing styles and cuts for free."
"My favourite salon! Has could not be more lovely. My hair always looks incredible after every visit. They truly care about you! I refuse to go anywhere else other than Bokaos"
"Came out of the salon feeling like a queen! My stylist was Didem and she did a phenomenal job! Her eye for detail was immense and the love/passion for her craft could be seen in way she took her time to get that perfect look. From the moment you enter the salon until you leave you are met with gracious hospitality. Highly recommend this salon, great vibes!"
"I came in armed with a bunch of reference and specific photos of things I want. I walked out with a haircut that was nice! Don't get me wrong. But it was quite literally none of what I wanted. The colors are completely different. I wanted copper and blonde. I ended up with black and orange. I'm not sure how. They straightened my hair when it's naturally curly and the hairstyles I wanted were curly. It looks like a cool cut, it's just not my style and not what I wanted and honestly it kinda sucks that I paid 200 dollars for a haircut I didn't want. The assistant was nice but I didn't feel like the owner was actually listening to me when I said things, I felt rushed around, she was very rough on my head and hair and it hurt, and it was just not a pleasant experience. I had melted plastic in my hair for a bit because they melted one of their own hair clips by placing the iron on the hair clip and then used the iron on my hair. It felt unsanitary, I felt like livestock, and there was no kind of clear outline with prices."
