"My hairstylist moved to another state last year and I've been struggling with touching my roots myself. I decided to start looking for someone that I can go to for my touch ups once a month at least. I called this location of fantastic Sam as it's close to where I live. I made an app and I asked the lady how much they charge, and she said 55$. So I went there and my stylist, Mona, was trying to convince me to have my keratin treatment done by her and then she mentioned my highlights have ash color that needs to be treated. So she was trying to sell me services several times. I actually agreed to let her do keratin soon. I went to pay and the lady at the front desk said 75$. She said that Mona asked her to charge me this much because of my wide roots. My roots were maximum half an inch. I posted photos on Yelp and you can judge yourself. I actually said ok because i never argue with payments and I was planning to leave her a 20$ tip on top of the 55$ anyway. Touching my roots took her exactly 10 to maximum15 and during application she was chatting with coworkers. I went home and as my hair dried up, I wanted to see how the touch up looked because when I left the salon my hair was wet and I couldn’t tell. I was shocked to say the least. The color wasn't the same as I mentioned to her I use #7 in light brown. Orange to yellow scalp and roots is what I saw. Some white roots looked very transparent in some areas and in other areas they were not even touched. I would have done a much better job even on my worst days. I posted photos on Yelp of the terrible job she did. Please Check photos for yourself. I could only take photos of the front. I don't want to even check the back.I will never go there. I don't recommend it. I'm so disappointed at my waisted time and waisted money in my first and last experience there!"
