"I've been coming here for years, but finally made it back for the first time since the start of the COVID lockdown. I'm so pleased Jaclyn and team have been able to remain in business. They have adjusted the stations with barriers, and avoid scheduling too many clients at once to maintain spacing. They offer surgical masks (my personal one has behind-the-ear adjusters that would have gotten in the way). All these changes don't diminish the quality of the experience that I've known all these years. Upon arrival, the reception staff will offer you a friendly greeting, and offer a beverage. They are prompt to let you know how long it will be before they seat you (always on time or within 10 minutes, per my experience). And the quality of cut is always superb. I've been a client of Jaclyn's for almost 15 years, and she's guided me through lots of different styles: long, short, hair donations, and even temp styles to support temp color for cosplay! I trust her opinion, and can give little direction, and know she'll do something that meets my needs. While I don't permanently color my hair, I've seen client after client of hers exit extremely happy with their hair color. She's truly a talent. The only challenge with the location of the salon is the parking. I typically park on the street around the corner on Knob Hill, and walk the half block north to the salon."
