"Our first time at this shop. In fact, nearly a first time in any barber shop: usually, my husband's hair is cut by the women of the family, and he trims his beard himself. Had a great experience consistent with what other reviewers here reported. An awesome professional haircut and beard trim by Ramona! From the second we walked in, the way she welcomed us in, right away helped relax the slight anxiety we had about going to this place. Oh and while you wait, it's so fun to watch both the barbers do their work. We had called ahead and made an appointment. With that, the wait (around noon on a Saturday) was about 15 or 20 mins, and the hair cut itself took under 15 mins. The whole thing seemed so pleasant and easy, I now ask myself how come we haven't discovered this years ago!"

"This is the place you go for the "Barber Shop Experience". Honestly it was the most bizarre haircut of my life. I walked in and there was one chair available so I sat down. I soon found out that most of the people in the waiting area weren't waiting for haircuts at all. They were just hanging out in the tiny waiting area holding the paying customers socially hostage. The person at the back chair left and everyone else wasn't waiting for her or not getting a haircut so it was my turn. I sat down and I specifically said not to touch my mustache just trim my neck. She then performed a quick and passable haircut. After that though she decided she would be cutting my beard and mustache without asking me. She even, somewhat hilariously, proclaimed herself as a, " Beard Expert." The kicker is she completely botched my mustache but I didn't want her to mess it up more so I paid the ridiculous $35 and I left. Needless to say, I wont be going back there."

Efficient, quick, professional, welcoming, and a good price. I especially want to share with queer/LGBT folks that every time I go to Ramona it's a super affirming experience. I can bring my dog and I once brought my nephew in for a cut too."
