"We went to get a haircut at 956am. Lady was already taking care of a customer when we came in, she was by herself at the time. She was nice enough to take us in as a walk-in customer, then a few moments while she was taking our information another gentleman customer walks-in and waited for us to finish with the lady. After we’re done, the lady also took the gentleman’s information, I overheard that customer had no appointment just like us. When the lady finished servicing the customer she was doing when we came in earlier, she calls the gentleman behind us. The gentleman even said: “They came before me” (referring to us, who came before him). I them asked that lady if she’s not going by who comes first for walk-ins, which the lady avoided to answer. Wanting to avoid any arguments, I just let it go, out of respect to the gentleman customer. Certainly, I would like to share this experience. A ridiculously sad event that could happen in one’s morning trying to get a haircut. I can only speculate why the lady put us behind, maybe she thinks we’d tip less than the gentleman before us, who knows how she figures that out. To make me feel better, the second lady, who just came in took me and cut my hair, did a very wonderful job, so wonderful I gave her a substantial amount of tip."
