"My 5 year old needs some dental work (5 cavities, some of which are in 10 year teeth) and we have been very stressed because we have tried getting x-rays 3 times with no success. Our situation requires anesthesia, unfortunately. I was referred to SJDSC by Western Dental Kids, and just talking to the receptionist, I already feel relief. She gave me insurance, billing, and process information, and we have set up a consultation. I feel like this process is understood by the staff and they have compassion for my situation (being a stressed out mom who feels guilt due to my child's cavities)."

"I was very anxious about my 5 year old being put under general anesthesia, but the front desk personnel was so patient with answering all my questions. Everything went really well with my daughters procedure and I’m glad we chose to come here."

They anesthetize the children without their consent, they tell you that they are going to take x-rays and they come back to tell you what treatment will be given and they tell you to decide once and for all because the patient is already asleep. They tell you you're wasting time and they don't even give you time to think about it for less than 5 minutes because they already have the child asleep. Without you telling them that if you were to carry out the treatment here, they would not do fillers. the worst experience. and there is an assistant who is very rude. I only"

"After seeing many dentist I was lucky to find Dental Surgery. My son was able to get his treatment at Once under anesthesia. Staff was polite. I'm also glad that they take my two insurance. The only thing I did like is that I was Not allowed to be next to my son during the treatment - parents should be allowed at least during anesthesia and after. But overall grateful for the service."

"My 5 year old had to get a tooth pulled and some fillings for two cavity's. I was terrified to the point that I wasn't going to take her but she needed her front tooth pulled as it had broke off and was starting to poke out of her top gums. I cried because anesthesia scares me and I always think the worse BUT my baby was so safe there. The nurses and dentist as well as the anesthesiologist was AMAZING! I felt so much better after being there and seeing the environment and her nurse was perfect! Our appointment was at 11:15am and we are now home at 2:30pm and she is back to normal wife awake making jokes and being silly. I would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND this place to parents for their kids."
