"Wood Salon is in my neighborhood and my housemate got an awesome trim and style from Cherie so I finally made an online appointment for the same. Making the online appointment was straightforward and easy. Covid precautions are in place and a must at this salon. I arrived at the salon, and swiftly welcomed by Cherie. A brief discussion about what I wanted my hair to be was followed by a gentle hair cleanse. Next was the trimming, followed by a gentle blow dry that my hair hasn’t seen in years. Cherie gave me an awesome trim that has added style, volume, and shape to my naturally fine hair that I can maintain and play with until the next trim. I love the results and will definitely see her again. And just like Cherie, Wood Salon has a lovely, down to earth, chill and comfortable vibe. This salon is also super clean, spacious, and tidy. I highly recommend this salon. Thank you Cherie!!!"

"I can't applaud and recommend this place enough. Bobbi has been my go-to, initially based on her portfolio and every time after based on our first meeting, and man... she is fantastic in every way. Incredibly talented with hair (dying, cutting, styling...) and so sweet and fun to talk to, warm and lovely. She makes you feel good to come into appointments, talks to you (very low-pressure) about what you want to do with hair and gives great informed suggestions. She's also very chill so you don't feel super tired after a 3-hour+ hair dye appointment, for example. She and the other stylists here strive to achieve your hair goals. The service at Wood Salon is also great, all the employees I've interacted with are nice and the environment is chic and somewhat cozy. Incredible art on display around the salon which is mesmerizing to look at in between treatments. Online reservations are a godsend and make booking an appointment very convenient. As for the actual hair stuff, price is reasonable for the service and quality you get. Definitely worth it if you want your hair to look and feel great. If you have a vision of the style or vibe you want to achieve, the skill of the stylists here will get you there. Again, can't recommend enough. This is hands down my favorite place to go in the Bay Area."
