"Worst hair cut I have ever had. I have been to Menlo park super cuts many times, but usually I have one of the ladies, who do a great job. This morning however (09/23/23), I have had an awful experience. I must say, I am unsure as to the point of asking ‘how do you have your hair?’ If you are going to show a complete disregard for your customers wishes and seemingly do whatever you please. Firstly, I am almost certain that the gentleman who cut my hair on this occasion was either still half asleep, drunk or high; not to mention that he stank of cigarettes (nothing against smokers, but this was overpowering). Had I noticed his odd behaviour prior to starting my cut, I would have asked for someone else. That said, when he asked how I have my hair, I explained that I always go for a side parting and leave the top quite long to comb back and the side also relatively long to comb to the side. None the less, before I could get a word in, he completely shaved the one side of my head, right up to my crown/ parting line. Now, for the first time in around 10 years, I no longer have my side parting. Instead, the sides and back are completely shaved down to a 2 and he left the top virtually untouched. Had I not complained that he had done the complete opposite of what I asked, and reluctantly asked him to cut the top down way way shorter than I usually have it just to balance out with the now completely shaved side, I would have been left with the ‘peaky blinders’ style he decided to give me. This is the last time I go to supercuts. And I strongly recommend that super cuts check their staff are awake, not intoxicated and actually capable of listening to their customers and cutting hair properly prior to work. I am still undecided as to whether to go to another barber this afternoon and have them cut off all of my hair completely, as this would be a better look than what I have been left with. What makes it worse is that when I told him it was not what I asked for, he barely reacted at all, it was almost as if he couldn’t have cared less. I am extremely unhappy, and would recommend anyone to be very selective as to who cuts their hair at this location, if you dare go here at all!"

"The reason this is two stars instead of one is because my stylist was fast. It took about 10 minutes to get my hair cut. I have to take off my glasses when I get cut, and if I would have seen what she was doing to my hair I would have left mid-cut and gone somewhere else. Choppy, uneven, WAY too short, and she shaved one of my temple points off but left the other one. Good thing it grows back."
