Nationwide Insurance: Jeremy Dwayne Mcclendon

"Hired Mclendon to handle auto and commercial policy for my business. I never received any actual insurance cards for my vehicles and when requested, he would sigh. I then moved and asked him multiple times to update my address in my account which he never did. My workers comp insurance was trying to contact me through mail of an audit and they also contacted Jeremy yet, he never notified me. My policy was cancelled and I never knew it. Jeremy continued sending updated policies to companies I worked for showing I had coverage but, I didn't. I was sued and had to pay over $18,000.00 to a company because I worked for a full year without coverage. I contacted Jeremy and he sent me a nasty email basically calling me an idiot and saying it was my fault for not paying however, everything was on automatic debit from my bank and if he would have done his job and not send policy certificates to companies saying I was fully covered, I wouldn't be out of this much money or, if he would have contacted me when my workers comp company contacted him - twice. He cost me a lot of money by not doing what I paid him to do. Horrible agent, bad attitude, and I highly recommend using anyone else for your insurance. Stay far away from this clown!"

"I’ve been with Nationwide for 20 years and received a notice my auto insurance was going up $30 a month. I called and asked why as I’ve had no tickets or accidents. I was told because I was a long-term customer I wasn’t approved for discounts. I was being punished for being a long term customer. Absolutely absurd, I called State Farm and got exactly the same plan for $40 cheaper a month. Great way to treat long-term customers. Nationwide was not on my side..."

My wife went in to make a change to one of our policies the agent spoke to her as if she was an idiot and explained how insurance works. Then told her that she should wait until her husband comes in to make changes to the policy. When she shared how she was treated we started to switch agents the next day."
