"Kari, Abby, and Athena did the hair and makeup for myself and my bridal party for my May 2023 wedding, and they did such a wonderful job! Everyone’s hair and make up stayed put all night, and everyone looked amazing! We all got tons of compliments that night, they were fun to work with, and I was very happy with how it all turned out. That being said, the owner, Chelsea, may be one of the least organized vendors I’ve ever worked with. She was 40 minutes late to our first introductory phone call, and on my first quote from her she forgot to add the discount that you get if enough bridesmaids sign up for services. I thought that wasn’t a big deal at first because I know it was the busiest year the wedding industry has ever had, and these things happen, so I signed up with them because of the many positive reviews. However, closer to the date of the wedding, she completely ghosted me on our final details call. I heard from one of her assistants an hour after the scheduled call time saying she was working a different event that she had known about for four weeks. If she had been able to talk with me that night, she also would have been able to explain the way she shows expenses and payments in the contract, which isn’t super intuitive, so I also thought there were errors in the contract when I looked at it that night. Those eventually were explained, but I overall got the feeling that I had to be triple checking the contract every time a new version was sent. To make up for all the miscommunications and mishaps, she said that she would personally take over the event and would be present on my wedding day to ensure everything ran smoothly (which I didn’t really need because I was very happy with my hair and makeup artists’ work at our preview/trial), but then she ended up not showing up to the wedding day anyways with no word that she wasn’t actually coming. So all in all, if you want great hair and makeup and don’t mind some stress leading up to the event, Fuse is a good option, but ultimately I think there are probably other companies/artists that could do just as good a hair and makeup job without the unnecessary stress beforehand."

"My wife got her hair and makeup done, she was upset because she specifically asked for loose curls and ended up with thick bouncy curls. She did not feel comfortable or confident enough throughout the day which is why I’m writing this review. Please listen to your clients and their needs. Something small is no big deal but for the price one is paying they deserve to be content with the look."
