"This review is 20+ years overdue. I started going to Dr. Fruhling about 20 years ago, regardless of many moves around the LA area I always returned to him. In 2010 I moved to South OC and still made the drive, there were a few years in between when my son was little that it just wasn’t convenient to head to the South Bay for a dentist appointment, as it’s about 3 hrs round trip, so I tried several dentists in OC area and they were all a total disappointment. My kid is a little older now and I can see Dr Fruhling again, even fairly simple procedures require taking 1/2 a day off from work and the drive isn’t fun, but it’s worth it 100%. I couldn’t recommend Dr Fruhling any more, he’s thoughtful, gentle, he’s concerned about his patients’ comfort level, so he goes slow and is extremely detailed. He’s also amazing at wanting to preserve a tooth whereas other dentists are quick to suggest crowns, etc. he’s just amazing. His staff is equally great, everyone goes above and beyond."

Today Dr. Fruhling and his assistant replaced a broken tooth with a crown. I know that going to the dentist is not normally a pleasant experience, but his care and keeping me informed along the way made my experience much better.
