"Food was absolutely delicious and the price point was very reasonable for the amount of food you get. Order everything…it all landed. We ordered the ceviche, grilled pulpo, veal heart, lomo saltado, empanadas, fish of the day (surprisingly flavorful relative to past experiences with whole grilled fish), papas, pork belly. Can’t wait to go back. Also, we had two little kids and the staff was very accommodating and even interacted with them, which they loved."
"Let me start by saying I came out of town to Nashville and by far this was the best meal I had in the whole trip. This restaurant holds a punch competing with bigger cities cuisines like NY, LA, and Chicago. It was one of the few places in Nashville to leave a resounding impression on me. I will definitely be talking up this place to all my friends and making sure they check out this place when they visit Nashville. The owner came out and ensured our experience was positive. She made really great recommendations and ensured that she could accommodate for my nut allergy. As a table, we ordered the ceviche with the raw meats and the fried octopus. Both were extremely delicious but the ceviche by far was one of the best dishes I've had at any latin restaurant period. It combined every aspect I love of Mexican ceviche along with sushi. For my entree, I had the Peruvian pesto linguine dish which was super creamy and the steak combined with the sauce was amazing. I had the creme brulee for dessert and it also took me back to my childhood eating Mexican flan but further enhanced it. My other friends got different dishes including the Lomo Saltado and Chupe De Camarones. I tried a bit of their dishes and both were extremely delicious as well. Overall, I was extremely happy to see a local Latino business bringing an elevated dining experience for others to enjoy and a great entry point to show how well balanced latin food is with fat, salt, acid, and heat. It blew my mind how well it captured all of the flavors from my childhood growing up in every dish. It felt like the presentation was on point but it never sacrificed on any flavor for aesthetic which is a hard balance to strike."
"The best Peruvian food, hands down. They cook with love and it shows! I haven't had Jalea in a while and it was so good!!"
"My husband and I stopped in earlier today and are so glad we did! The space is bright and open, the staff and owner are very friendly and knowledgeable, and the speed in which we got our food was shocking. Every dish was delicious, but the ceviche stole the show! (I ate it too fast to take a picture.) The owner let us know that they’d only had their soft opening, so they will have a full bar, etc. in a few months. Bar or no bar, I’m looking forward to a lot more meals at Limo!"
"TL;DR: food is incredible - best Peruvian place I’ve had in Nashville I’ve been looking high and low for great lomo saltado in Nashville. The food here reminded me of the deep flavors I always got at some of my favorite peruvian restaurants in DC. Started with the fried jalea and octopus. Loved it. The Lomo flavor was savory I’m used to fries with it but the potatoes were crispy then flakey and the sauce was incredible. If I could eat this dish every day I would. Wife ordered the Chupe de Camarones. It reminded me of a lobster bisque but filled with meaty shrimp. It was creamy, savory and refreshing. She loved it so much that didn’t want to share haha the little bit she shared was amazing. I’ve never been a fan of fried fish usually because it’s just seasoned on the outer crispy parts and the rest is bland…but this…had flavor throughout and into the meat. The house made tartar sauce is amazing and I was nibbling on the bones just to get every last bit of meat out! The ceviche "
