Birba Wine Bar is a European inspired wine bar located in Hayes Valley, San Francisco. We offer a selection of new and old world wines, both classic and natural, in a cozy and laid-back atmosphere. "I had such a wonderful time at Birba recently. I come here occasionally, but my last visit stuck out and I really want people to know how great and delicious this place is (and kinda not, because I like being able to quickly get seated in their gorgeous back garden). The sparkling wine from Jura was so good, and our server suggested some sherry to eat with our cheese plate that was such a good combo. I just love it here!"

"This place has an adorable patio in the back. It’s shielded from the wind, which, in SF, is a non-trivial matter. I thought the wine selection was quirky and delectable. I went with an oenophile — and he confirmed their wines were quite fine. The pistachio feta dip plate was fun. At $11, I’d happily recommend it."
