Reviews
"This unattended Visitors Center overlooks the former k25 site at Oak Ridge. It provides useful information and perspective on the activities here. It would be a good first stop when visiting Oak Ridge and arriving from the south."
"The K-25 Overlook and Visitor Center is a small but very good place to check out some very informative displays, and get a higher elevated view of the K-25 site. Keep in mind that the site has been decommissioned and demolished, and that other buildings have been constructed around the area...so keep your expectations in check. There are a number of pamphlets and maps that can help you with planning your visit, too. A great next stop is right up Enrichment Drive at the K-25 History Center."
"Nice place just for stop by to find out some useful info about history of Owk Ridge."
"This visitor center is really great to stop at before going to the K-25 Museum! It has a great overlook as you can see most of what used to be K-25! Lots of information is here about the development of the Manhattan Project at Oak Ridge! It’s definitely worth the stop!"
"The visitor center is very informative, contains the timeline about a progress of the Manhattan Project and the research center contribution to a discovery of tennessee element. I visited it afternoon on weekday and there was no people. From outside, you can see the Heritage Center across highway. Highly recommend this place!"
