"Great. A family is taking care of this old beauty. As I started walking around, a gentleman apprached me and gave me a wonderful tour. His wife's grandpa bought this lot where the cabin was sitting originally and for love to history, he and his family take care of this location free of charge. So, the next time you visit, please make your contribution, I mean, deposit some bucks in a bottle that reads "tips." Thank you to this nice man who gave me the tour. Needless to say, David's Hall grave is just feet away from the cabin."

"I had a wonderful time at the David Hall Cabin photographing The Living History Days. There were numerous reenactors, along with black smithing, soap making and so much more. Libby Bumgardner the owner has really done a great job of maintaining the cabins and property and is just a joy to visit with. I would recommend the David Hall Cabin to anyone. If you are ever in the Claxton Community of Anderson County, Tn. Stop in and see one of Anderson County's little hidden gem and visit Libby and her cabins. You won't be disappointed."

"A worthwhile detour if you're in the area or riding by. Heck... Worth just heading there for a visit! 200 year old cabin and other buildings restored to their former glory. Great trip back in time."
