"Very bad experience! I had an appointment for my child more than 3 years ago! We refused their treatment because they proposed us ... to tie tight my child so they can drill the tooth! They assured me it is normal practice. No, it is not normal at all! Tie a child while he is crying and screaming and keep drilling his tooth is definitely not okay! We agreed on teeth exam and teeth scan only. Insurance covered everything. However, since that appointment they keep sending me the same bill saying I owe them! Insurance company assured me that I do not owe them anything, everything was covered. But they keep sending me the same bill for more than 3 years already."

"It took nine years to realize my dentist did not have the best intentions and notice the true damage done to the lower half of my face. Recently, I have been going through multiple dentists for the health of my teeth and braces consultation. I had four braces consultations, and one of them that sticks with me is the consultation I had at Gentle Dental as a new patient. The office had no prior knowledge of my teeth as they don't carry a history of their past patients. When the dentist observed my teeth, he told me the dentist who worked on my case twisted the top and bottom teeth. I can't comprehend the reasoning behind this, but the time I had braces on was long and brutal. The timeline of my completed treatment was four years and my dentist initially pushed me to get jaw surgery. I couldn't imagine getting surgery and I opted to just get braces. Fast forward to year 4 of my last appointments, my dentist gave me the option to remove the braces or stay longer for additional work. I couldn't understand why my dentist would be hesitant about the result of his planned work, but I was relieved that my braces could be removed soon. The following years would result in pain and discomfort. Another harrowing experience I had was their teeth extraction methods. When I opted for local anesthesia, I felt every ounce of pain when removing four of my bicuspid teeth. When I alerted the dentist that it feels as if it hasn't been numb, he did not seem to care. He continued prying out my tooth as I winced in pain and tears rolled down my cheeks. Then he suggested that he either continue or I should pay extra for general anesthesia. I decided to deal with the pain and continue with the procedure. I never thought about removing teeth again. However, when the time came to remove my wisdom teeth, I decided to go with local anesthesia again at a different dental office. I was shocked that I felt no pain during the procedure, just pressure. It was only after a few hours I felt pain as the numbness was wearing off. Describing a glimpse past and listing a few pictures won't show much, but anyone who has a look at my teeth would question my history. When you put trust in a doctor to do the best work for a better smile and health, it breaks my heart that such practice exists to do the opposite, to stay longer and pay more money. Seeing my smile in the mirror and experiencing discomfort eating is just a reminder of the pain and suffering that I endured. I feel unlucky that I stepped into Gentle Dental's office nine years ago, and it pains me that select patients had to experience this."
