"I was referred here for a route canal. The front desk staff were absolute angels who talked me through everything. They even gave me a detailed explanation on how to talk to my insurance company (since this was an out of network office). Dr. Cheung performed the procedure. He treated me like a human being not just a patient. Talked me through the entire procedure and made sure I was comfortable. I’ve never had such a pleasant experience at the dentist. In fact, I’d go so far as to say I absolutely hate seeing the dentist. Whole staff was patient, non-judgmental, warm, understanding and extremely skilled. I won’t go anywhere else."

"Dr. Cheung was fantastic. I was in the Bay Area visiting and needed to have a root canal treatment. I was referred to Palo Alto Endodontic Center, and saw Dr. Cheung. I was very nervous and had so many questions before we proceeded. He answered them all happily, explained the entire procedure in detail before we began, and was very patient with me. He made me feel comfortable and talked me through the entire procedure. I was so impressed with Dr. Cheung! I hope to never need another root canal treatment again, but I would seriously consider flying to the Bay Area to have him do the treatment."

"I don’t usually leave reviews, but would like to highlight what a great experience I had with Dr. Cheung. After a terrible experience with a snake of a dentist last year, I’d become deeply suspicious of dental practitioners. I’d been having pain with biting on a large replaced filling for several months and my current dentist referred me to the endodontic center to see if a root canal might be necessary. Dr. Cheung was incredibly patient, answered all my questions in depth, and explained in layman’s terms anything that wasn’t clear to me. Oftentimes medical practitioners are busy and seem distracted when speaking to you, but while we were meeting, I felt like I was Dr. Cheung’s priority at all times. He afforded me a degree a respect and dignity that feels increasingly rare among medical personnel. I was very hesitant to jump into a root canal, and Dr. Cheung respected that and didn’t try to push any procedures on me. He expressed at the outset that it wasn’t clear whether a root canal was necessary, and was totally on board with waiting to see how the tooth progressed. Dr. Cheung objectively laid out the pros and cons of treatment, and I left the office feeling well-informed. As my tooth was prepped for a crown and the pain under pressure persisted, the root canal began to look like the most sensible option. Dr. Cheung made sure I was comfortable throughout the procedure. Most importantly, he explained exactly what he was doing throughout the entire process. I was never left to guess what was going on in my tooth, which I found very reassuring. Endodontic work is never fun, but Dr. Cheung kept me comfortable and informed throughout the process. He’s an honest and trustworthy endodontist, and I recommend seeing him if you think you might need work done!"

"My tooth started bothering me ( i knew from a past dental visit i would have to get a root canal done on that tooth) life happens and i never got around to it> so my tooth began bothering me Saturday and it just kept getting worse. I was googling and yelping endodontist and came across the reviews for Dr. Riahi. He has nothing but excellent reviews on yelp and this two reviews on google are good as well. I called on Monday afternoon trying to see when I'd be able to get an appointment and to my surprise I got an appointment later that afternoon. My experience was great and i'm super terrified of dentist. Dr. Riahi was amazing and even stayed late to do the root canal and filling that I needed to be done. He is a great doctor, I appreciate him so much! He did a great job on my tooth. He even gave me some names of a few good dentist ( I don't have one as i moved here in Jan)."
