Condos at the Villager Apartments

"I hated living here. I will never go back, even if it means I’m homeless. I felt unsafe walking to my car at night, and there were two shootings at this complex while I was living here. Also, my neighbor’s car was broken into. Not to mention, the apartment was definitely not worth $1000+ for what you got. The pool was gross. I literally watched people spit into it, multiple times. People from the next complex over jumped the fence to come swim in it. The laundry room floor was always soaked/flooded and most of the time the machines were mostly out of order/not working properly. An electrical wire was hanging down over one entrance for over a month, and all they did was move one of the dumpsters in front of the road. They “fixed it” once.. Yeah, it happened again within a week. It was blocking the only entrance the garbage truck could use, so garbage piled up for weeks because the truck couldn’t come dump it. It smelled disgusting. Speaking of entrances, don’t move here if you’re going to be in a rush to go anywhere. There’s only once entrance and one exit. Half the people living here can’t tell the difference between them, so people come into the exit and leave via the entrance, all the time. I’ve almost been hit several times. It’s impossible to make a left out of here, not just because of traffic, but because there’s a giant brick wall blocking the view of the road. You have to be halfway into oncoming traffic to even see them coming. The apartment itself was listed as about 550sqft and it’s probably 400sqft on a good day. No washer/dryer or even hookups available. No dishwasher. No garbage disposal. No central heating/air, just an under window unit that goes out whenever it wants. There was painted-over mold and mildew in the bathroom, and once the paint started chipping away, it smelled unbearable. I had to leave the bathroom fan on 24/7 or else I’d be thrown into a coughing fit. Anyways, long story short, this place sucks. Don’t live here if you have any other choice. The only plus side was that I could walk next door to Smoothie King, and even then it still kinda sucked."

"Quiet and easy going place Move out Edit: So we ended up moving out due to price vs amenities. It’s 1000$+ for a gross pool and inconsistent paid to use washer and dryers, has no A/C just a unreliable window unit that ended up flooded in our last week (called emergency maintenance and he let us know it isn’t important enough to come out on a Saturday due to him living a hour away.) there’s no dish washer or garbage disposal. Move charges were crazy, they charged us 400$ to fix the floors that were already gashed open on move in, they said they couldn’t fix them when we did our move in walkthrough in time for us, we put this on the move in sheet and they still charged us. So that’s great. Lie to the people that paid ya over 12,600+ for year to live there. Then they charged us 300$ for cleaning and painting, I wasn’t too mad about the painting part due to some scuffs but we spent a over a week deep cleaning the already clean apartment to ensure that they wouldn’t charge us and they did anyways. So yeah. I wouldn’t recommend living here. Edit: the original review was on my first week here. It has kinda gone down in quality. I’m Moving out next week and I thought I’d just add some photos of the current state of things."

"Katie simply went above and beyond to help us get moved in. It was a super stressful time during my partner and I’s life, and Katie at the office really went out of her way to help simplify moving into the apartments. Living here has been the BEST! 10/10 recommend"

"Easy online application and lease signing. Apartment had a few issues at move in. Took a week for them to respond to no hot water maintenance request. Other then that everything has been good. Quiet neighborhood. Close to everything. Can’t go wrong with any of there locations here in town. The office ladies are super nice. They are like everyone else as far as being extremely busy. Be patient they will return your calls but it’s better to email."

"The condo is simple, but everything you need. It's also the best deal price wise in this neighborhood. I love having the cheap public washing and drying machines within the complex for residents to use. I've lived there for 2 years, and it's always been safe. I saw another review where the person said cars had been broken into, but mine never has been, and I don't know anyone who's lived here that's had that happen. I feel safe here."
