"I would love to give it a 5 but there are some issues that I feel are warranted for those interested in moving here to be aware of. Pros: -Good location -Friendly office staff with prompt responses. Jaclyn is a busy lady, but she takes awesome care of me anytime I have a question or problem! She has gone above and beyond numerous times for me. -Modern & Neutral appearance -Shorter than 12 month lease options -Pet friendly -Great clubhouse & gym -Easy to use application and monthly payment system -Inexpensive utilities -Reasonable rent compared to nearby competitors Cons: -Club house and gym took way longer than initially told to be completed, was kind of a bummer to be paying for those amenities but not able to use them for 4+ months. -I never know where my packages will get delivered, not the communities fault. My door, someone else’s door, the clubhouse, the exterior of my unit? You name it. -Maintenance team is friendly, but communicating the issues I’ve experienced and the remedies used to fix them are a big miss. Still have issues mentioned months ago that were slapped with a bandaid that didn’t solve the issue, and have yet to be properly addressed. When they do come to fix stuff, they leave a mess behind. -Doors to the buildings slam extremely loud, and there’s a very long and loud beep after scanning your entry fob. I feel bad for those that live close to these doors! -Walls and floors are thin, so you can definitely hear your neighbors. Mine aren’t so bad, but I’m sure I can be loud (3 kids) at times. -Paint used in the apartments, cheap builder grade and looks like crap the moment you even brush past it. They should’ve used something with even a hint of sheen to avoid this. -The installation of cabinets, countertops, sinks, mirrors, etc was done very poorly. Grout and caulk look terrible. Scratches and knicks everywhere. Clearly a rush job. -lack of storage for outdoor toys (ie bikes) -Parking is limited, and I feel the “future resident” designated spots could’ve been put in a better spot. Such as to the left of the clubhouse while facing it. Where they chose to put them eliminated parking for current residents when the options are already slim. -The heating/cooling in my unit is not evenly spread out between rooms. The 2 spare/kids bedrooms (not the master) are either super hot or cold depending on the current climate."
"The Canon Apartments are wonderful and very beautiful. I am a real resident and nobody told me to post this. From the beginning of us looking for a place to reside in Tennessee, the staff Olivia and Jaclyn have been so amazing to us. The process with the tour to speaking on the phone were very professional. The apartments are new so with any new development there will be little things that need done but nothing big and major. They have been on top of everything from day 1. When a work order goes in they are immediately on top of this. They take pride in who lives here and maintaining the property. I do work and get up early and I hear no noises. I thought I would but it’s very quiet for me. The scenery is gorgeous and no matter what you go to the office for and how tired the girls may or may not be they go out of their way to accommodate you. They make you feel like family and I don’t have one negative thing to say at all. I have lived around the world with medical college and by far this is the most peaceful and beautiful place to live. I can only see this complex being better after it is all finished also. I love the fact they screen residents very well so you do feel safe. This area is so nice anyhow but that’s a perk. The maintenance team have been excellent so far also very polite and professional. I know that if there are any issues they would be on top of it. They all care about this property very much and they smile so you know they love working here. You may see reviews that aren’t 5 stars from folks but if they had 10 stars they would receive 10 stars. "I was very excited to move here, as it was my first apartment solely on my own. I decided on the cannon because I loved the apartment look and the amenities I was told about- but are still not done. I settled on the location because I loved the look of the units so much, but I’m used to being on the other side of Murfreesboro. I actually decided on the Cannon over Springfield, which I was set on moving to for months before I made the final decision. Initially when I moved in, I thought there were no issues. Then I started to notice scratches all over the countertops, cracks in the walls. Even full chips taken off of the countertops. There was something sticky all over the side of my bathroom vanity as well that I have still not been able to get off, and to top it off, the day I moved in my sink had a cracked pipe and I had to have them replace that the day I moved in. Ever since then, I’ve had numerous issues. The vent in my kitchen was leaking, for almost 2 entire weeks, before being fixed. Every time I emailed to get this addressed, I either wasn’t responded to or I was told they couldn’t find the source of the leak. I never got updates, other than when i would contact about it. I also never knew when anyone was in my unit, I was left no notices or emails. I said in an email that I wasn’t very confident in the maintenance team moving forward if it had taken almost 2 weeks to find a leak, I was then told I was rude and uncalled for by the community manager Jaclyn. Since the vent was fixed, I hoped for no other issues. I was wrong. I get HelloFresh delivered on Tuesdays every week. On Halloween, 10/31 I got an email saying my package was delivered at 9:30 that morning. When I arrived home later that day, I didn’t have the package, so I reported it to HelloFresh and just moved on because I assumed it was on them that I didn’t receive it. This past Monday, 11/06 the package was at my doorstep, rotten, smelly, and the ice packs were completely melted, because it was delivered on the 31st, and it was never put at my doorstep, or it was put at the wrong doorstep. I then emailed the office this past Tuesday the 7th, and asked what may have happened regarding my package. I was told that my box was not delivered on the 31st the week prior, and was instead delivered Monday, 11/06. I then reached out to HelloFresh to gather the shipping information from fedex. I looked at my package on fedex, and it shows that my package was in fact delivered on the 31st and that one of the ladies in the office signed for it that day as well. I then send screenshots of my conversation with the HelloFresh representative and the fedex shipping information to the office and tell them I don’t appreciate being lied to. I never received an email back then, so I forwarded the message again today and sent it. I got a very rude response from Jaclyn, saying she was not in office from the 6th-8th and that’s why I didn’t get a response. I had sent the email to the other girl that works in there, as well as the cannon email address. If I email during office hours, regardless if the manager is in or not, I should receive a response. Since Jaclyn was also not in office on the 6th, she would have no way of knowing for sure that my package was delivered that day like she’s assuring me it was. Jaclyn told me in the email today that it was a courtesy to deliver my packages to my door and she could stop any time, being that our package room isn’t built yet, and the “office” is in a unit in my building, they absolutely should be placing packages at door steps. I wrote in my email to her that I was extremely disappointed in my experience here and I should be excited because it is my first apartment on my own. After saying this, Jaclyn made me feel as though I wasn’t intelligent enough to understand how the delivery system works since this is my first apartment on my own. I feel attacked and uncomfortable going home and going to the office because of the way I am being responded to. I am so unhappy that I chose this complex to call home."
"Had a tour with Olivia and she was awesome! Such a sweet girl who really took the time to answer my questions and did so with a smile and kindness. I got started looking very early so I’m not quite ready to move yet, but Olivia definitely moved The Cannon to the top of my list when it comes time for me to find a new home!"
"These are brand new apartments that are modern, with great amenities and are beautiful! I could not be happier living here. Jaclyn and Olivia work in the front office and they are the nicest most professional people. Jaclyn and I were in contact prior to the opening of The Cannon and she was amazing. She gave me so much information about the opening and what apartments were available and was not 'pushy' about having me sign a lease until I was ready. Jaclyn and Olivia are in constant communication with the residents, keeping us up to date with any events. They also made my move-in as smooth as possible. Whenever I need to reach either of them they are quick to respond. I would highly recommend The Cannon for your next living community ❣️"
