"Dr. Chong was very rude to me and emotionally distressing while I was pregnant. He over estimated me by hundreds of dollars versus other orthodontists. I got quoted at 4.2k by him and he brought it down to 3.5k if I paid in full. I was estimated under 2k at another office. Also he gave me a higher timeline to finish my braces than any other orthodontist. He said he knows he is the best in the area and doesn’t have to bargain. His office was dirty and underwhelming. The only nice thing I will say is his staff was very kind and fast from the front desk to the hygienist/techs and financial assistant."

"I saw five different orthodontists between the ages of 12 and 15, and every one of them advised that I receive orthognathic surgery to correct my severe underbite. It wasn’t until I saw Dr. Scott Chong (who was then practicing with his father Leonard), that anyone told me they could feasibly fix my bite without shaving off part of my mandible. Dr. Chong was able to fit me with braces and correct my teeth, creating space by removing a few bicuspids. 16 years later, and my teeth are still perfectly aligned, while my friends who still regularly wear their retainers now need readjustment. I met someone recently who had the oral surgery I would have received, and hearing of their pain and months of rehabilitation reminded me how lucky I was to have found Dr. Chong. It’s been years, and I still remember how kind, professional, and experienced he and his team were with me. I was applying to colleges at the time, and I recall Dr. Chong encouraging me to apply to his alma mater, and then gifting me my first college sweatshirt when I was admitted.
