The Dutton Luxury Apartments

"Roaches Roaches Roaches. Roaches in the oven. Roaches in the back of our fridge. Roaches all over the kitchen. My kitchen was infested with roaches. I notified the current manager who told me an exterminator would come the following week. They did not come, she went on vacation. Due to this, we couldn’t reach her or the exterminator. We lived with roaches for two weeks, of course the roaches had plenty of babies in that time. Crazy these roaches lived at the Dutton in my apartment for two weeks without paying rent! It turns out the roaches were living in the back of our fridge which was partially ripped up and open. It looked like maybe someone tried to tape it back on at some point??? We couldn’t use our kitchen to cook any food for those two weeks because of the roaches fighting their way inside of our fridge on the counter tops, and stove. We had to order take out for TWO WEEKS. Would you eat at a restaurant with ROACHES? No? Me neither. If you don’t want to live in an apartment with roaches, I wouldn’t move here. I will say the exterminator did eventually come after having to repeatedly contact office staff. The roaches ran out of the kitchen and into our BEDROOMS. Be careful out here y’all, the roaches might come visit you next. Truly traumatizing experience, very nasty."

She gave us a wealth of information and was one of the friendliest apartment staff that I had talked to over the past few months that I’ve been searching. Stellar job!"

"Terrible. Cool if you need cheap housing fast. Not luxury. There are roaches and the appliances break constantly. There are mold in some units. Maybe the patio doors aren’t sealed well but the cold from outside freezes the whole unit forcing you to have to turn the heat up to overcompensate. Which they don’t recommend. The front door as well. Pipes literally just busted and flooded multiple apartments. The next day they send out a passive aggressive email saying leave the building at your own risk. Meanwhile people and their families had to leave their apartments because they flooded the previous night. I get that things happen but the email was uncalled for and unprofessional. No email was sent prior to about letting faucets drip or leaving cabinets open. Mail boxes were mixed up, they didn’t give out keys for at least a month and kept saying they were going to give them out then didn’t do so. The office closes whenever they want to. The name will change and change again but it still sucks lol. Some of the office staff and maintenance are very nice which is cool but overall the “Dutton” sucks. But it’s cheap so hey, what can you really say. You get what you pay for."

"The office staff was amazing and made sure all of my questions were answered and everything was explained thoroughly. They worked with us on our move in date, especially with it being so short notice. They did a great job. The apartment is the perfect size for our family, and my kids LOVE the playground. It feels very home-y."
