Rip Curl - Ventura

"Hands down my GO TO shop for anything surf related!!! ..... I recently had two awesome experiences at this rip curl location and I highly recommend this store over other surrounding surf shops. My First issue was over an accidentally damaged suit for a friend who was brand new to surfing. I recommended he go to rip curl after already visiting other surf retailers and coming up empty handed. Long story short, after a small unforeseen issue with his first purchased rip curl wetsuit, he presented the issue to the manager and was well taken care of and now takes every opportunity to tell me how much he loves that dang suit everytime we go out in the water. My second awesome experience was just a quick try on and purchase of my first full rip curl wetsuit. Again the manager was there to help me with my questions and purchase and I am completely happy saying that a long time vissla supporter, will now be backing an awesome brand in Rip Curl!"

"The Definition Of A Local Surf Shop. This is my connection for swimwear, flip flops and local stickers. They also have an amazing assortment of surfboards and wet suits, seriously, your got to see this place. The staff is always first class and very helpful."

"The staff knows what he is doing and talking about, from clothing to boards and wetsuits they are always ready to help. I first didn't even thought about going there, for me it was a big company and I thought, as always a mediocre staff. So I decided to go to the Ventura Surfshop to get my first board. They didn't even bothered helping me, and in the end I ended buying a board that broke a month later. In the end I went to Rip Curl, the prices aren't more expensive than at an other surf shop, they have everything you need. And an helpful staff who atually are surfers and know their stuffs. They will never recommend you the most expensive product. I once wanted to buy a leash, I took an FCS 8ft (30$), when I went to pay the guy at the register told me that if I wanted, for 22$ I could get an Al Merrick one of the same dimension... Same for a board, after helping me choose between a large amount of options, we ended up between 2 boards that weren't necessarily the most expensive ones. Once again for a wetsuit, they told me the pros and cons of each one of them without trying to make me buy the most expensive one, but recommending me that was in between. Overall I'm really happy of this location, I always highly recommend them and whenever I need something surf I always go there."
