"So disappointed with my partial highlight in this salon. My hair was supposed to get a silver-ashy highlight but I came back with the same hair color that I entered the salon. My hair is partially gray so it might need more professional work to get it colored, but still no reason to use more color and have me pay $200 for a $170 work. You tell me if you can see one highlight on this hair:"

"Marisa is awesome! Before I came to Crush, I had my hair botched by a different salon, which left a horrible taste in my mouth. I called a couple of different places up to fix it and this was the only one that seemed to really want to understand my issues before quoting me a price. Off the bat, they offered a consultation where I met with Marisa, who was fantastic at understanding what I was looking for. She was also very clear about what she could do and how much it would cost. This was a completely different experience than the first establishment. She gave me the style I was looking for and I love it! I appreciate that she also explained what she was doing as she was working on my hair. "READ*** Please don't book with Ruth. I booked an appointment over the phone for a wash & straightening treatment like I always do. I've been to 3 other stylists here and they all deliver great results for my curly hair. However, this time they were both booked so the owner recommended Ruth & I figured since I've been going to the salon for a while now that most of their stylist are qualified and skilled. While Ruth is doing my hair she says that she does not have time to straighten my hair because I did not book that service..... I told her I always get the same service regularly and that I did, in fact book a straightening service. Who gets their curly hair just blow dried when they want it silk straight? She spent a whole hour blow drying my hair only for it to look frizzy, dry and still curly in some areas....Ruth needs to managed her time better because she definitely could of flat ironed my hair in an hour and a half time frame. Honestly, I could of done far better job myself! I told her I would fix my hair myself at home and got up from my seat. I went to the front desk and asked the receptionist if she could confirm the appointment that I booked. According to the notes, I booked a wash & straightening service which is exactly what I told Ruth! Apparently the receptionist said Ruth did not see the notes... why did she not go check the notes right after I had said something? How was this missed? She obviously did not know how to manage my hair and thought it would be okay to not finish it? The fact that Nobody offered to make up for my disappointment or to fix the mistake or miscommunication is very unprofessional and shows lack empathy. Crush salon needs to reevaluate who they hire - or provide essential training. Please don't let just anybody touch your hair."
