"This dentist destroyed my life almost exactly one year ago by breaking my tooth because he was careless and busy with his assistant he wasn't paying attention and broke my tooth. A hole was put into my sinus at his office during the extraction of the tooth that he had broke. The tooth didn't require an extraction when I went in. He just wanted to bill for me not actually take care of me as a human and patient. I would not recommend this dentist to anyone EVER!!!"
"My husband had been avoiding going to the dentist pretty much all his life. As a result he suffered from multiple recurrent dental issues that led to various missing teeth. He lost the joy of eating because he couldn’t chew properly and often suffered from indigestion Thankfully we found a dental office that changed it all. Doctors and the staff knew exactly how to treat a scary cat husband of mine. They patiently explained all the lengthy process of implant treatment at every stage with kindness and expertise. Now I have a happy smiley husband who even brags to us all that he has the best looking set of teeth in the family. Thank you Dr.cho,Dr Lam and wonderful staff at Ignacio Dental. "I have had the best experience recently at Ygnacio Dental! Dr. Cho and Dr. Lam really make me feel so comfortable and take their time to explain everything and answer all my questions. I had a bad experience at another dental office, so I was nervous to change offices but the doctors here are so genuine! Stella always greets me by name as soon as I come in, and I can tell she genuinely takes her time with patients by answering all my questions over the phone, especially regarding insurance. She is very honest and works hard to make sure I have all the details regarding my treatment and plan. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a new dentist!"
"I was very disappointed with the lack of communication and dishonest practices in this office. On my first visit, my insurance benefits were not reviewed or discussed with me. They offered me a “complimentary” fluoride application which I later discovered was submitted to my insurance and part of how they calculated my co-pay. My co-pay was around $100 and this was higher than I expected. After requesting an itemized bill (1), I saw my co-pay was calculated by the office fees minus the estimated coverage from my insurance. I saw the fluoride application fee and texted the office to clarify the situation as I thought it was a mistake. I asked them if their office was in network with my insurance. A day later, the front desk (Stella) replied “if the insurance doesn’t pay for it, we don’t pass the charge to you”. I texted her back letting her know how this made me feel uncomfortable because complimentary means at no charge and not billing towards my insurance. I didn’t hear back from them for a few days. After that, I canceled my future appointments and requested a refund for custom trays that were never made. The next day, I got a reply that they canceled my appointments and told me they could not refund me for the trays if the lab had already started making them. The front desk said they will check with the lab and will get back to me. I was confused by this message since they know there were no impressions made. I replied letting them know that I did not have any impressions taken with them and if they can clarify where these “trays” are being made from. I asked them to call the lab and cancel the trays if possible. Again, no reply or clear communication. A few days pass again, I give them a call to get an update on the trays and Stella replies that there are no trays and that the office will give me a refund. I go to the office for my refund and they tell me that the insurance reimbursement kicked in and I owe them $6 more. I went ahead and paid the money. I got my refund and before leaving I asked for another itemized bill (2). Once I go home, I realize the two itemized bills that Stella sent me do not match.They did remove the fluoride fee, but changed the cost for two different services. I called my insurance and they explained how I had a higher co-pay than usual because I was out-of-network. This was a horrible experience and reflects poorly on the whole office. Not once did I receive an apology when I expressed my dissatisfaction."
"I really enjoyed my treatment with Dr. Wendan Li! She is so sweet, so professional. It really feels like she knows what she is doing. Her bedside manner is so comforting. She listened to all my concerns and took all my requests into account. The treatment was painless and fast, she is VERY skilled! I highly recommend treatment with Dr. Li."
