"horrible billing practices. I feel like they over billed me and they did it on purpose. the person that does the billing is Jenna and she is either extremely incompetent or is a dam thief. My experience with Estudillo has been extremely frustrating. This is due largely to the shady billing and, in my opinion, unethical and sloppy billing practice. Instead of billing the insurance company for the services, you theyvuse a double dip method and overcharge the patient. There was about $5000 in insurance they could have gotten if only the billing team would have properly done thier due diligence Instead of overcharging the patient. That money just resets at the beginning of the year but I will look elsewhere for my dental needs. what a shame."

"Ali and Carlos, the receptionists, are great. Very polite and responsive. TLDR; dentist upsell. I came to this dentist for a year, beginning in August of 2022. I will admit I skipped going to dentist for a few years over the pandemic, so when I came in, they recommended a deep cleaning. Ok, fair. I don’t have dental insurance so it was $600 and they offered me a payment plan. As someone who has never had a cavity until the last year (I’m 32 years old) and has generally good oral hygiene, and no history of gum disease, I was surprised when a different dentist at this practice, 1 year later, said I needed ANOTHER deep clean. The ol’ dentist upsell. I had originally scheduled a regular teeth cleaning, and he said that he “couldn’t work on” me without a deep cleaning, and I would have to schedule another appointment (because he had other patients)… for another $600. And additionally they want me to come in every 3-4 months for a year for regular cleanings. I walked away, $90 later, with basically only having my teeth brushed and flossed by the dental hygienist. I find this hard to believe that I, as a generally healthy young person with good teeth, need ANOTHER deep cleaning only a year later, not to mention coming in 3-4 times a year for regular cleaning? Totally excessive. I asked if I had gum disease and they said no, but we want to make sure you don’t get there. Over diagnosis to over treat. The worst part is I felt kind of judged for not flossing enough. The dental assistant just kept shaking her head at me, even when I was asking questions. Don’t y’all deal with people who don’t floss enough all day every day? And when I brought up that I don’t have dental insurance because I haven’t had any serious issues, the doctor said “I’m worried about your health, not your money.” Lol, right. I left feeling a little confused about the order of operations - I need my upper wisdom teeth removed, a teeth cleaning and a small cavity filled. I had to ask what the most pressing issue was, and the dentist said deep cleaning. I asked if I could also schedule for my wisdom teeth to be removed and they said they don’t do that at this office, and would have to refer me to another. Of course they don’t! and emphasized teeth cleaning. Spend my money at this office FIRST, before spending at a oral surgeon. So I got a 2nd opinion because it all seemed a little suspicious and confusing. The 2nd dentist said, no you do not need a deep cleaning, you need to get your wisdom teeth removed because it’s causing issues for your 2nd molars and will continue to, and then go back to regular cleanings every 6-12 months. He said if I got my wisdom teeth removed, it would be hard for anyone to make a case for deep cleaning. Anyway, suffice to say I won’t be returning to Estudillo dental. Didn’t like the vibe of the dentist or his assistant, and everything else mentioned here."

"Estudillo Family Dental made a great first impression during my initial appointment. The office is clean and comforting. The office staff was efficient and professional in their operations. Every technician was great taking care to check on me as I waited for the dentist. The dentist was outstanding - empathetic, knowledgeable, and provided clear communication about next steps. I have found my new dentist and I’m looking forward to having a long term relationship with them."

"This was my first time going to the dentist in 2-3 years and it was an excellent experience! The staff at the front desk are really friendly and warm (thank you, Carlos!) and everyone who touched my teeth was very understanding of my dental anxiety. They listened to me, and had no issue being gentle and mindful of my teeth and gum sensitivity. I had no pain the entire time. Super knowledgeable and patient staff, clean environment, easy to find...all around about as good of a dental experience as you can get!"

I was greeted with some of the best customer service I have ever received from the moment I walked into the office to the moment I left. The cleanliness of this office is very splendid. I cannot express enough how impeccable the exam room was presented. I was given a plush blanket to make me feel the most comfortable during my appointment which is something I have never experienced before. This establishment is a 10/10 for me."
