Twenty & Grand

"Wish I could give 0 star here. Simply put, the apt is extremely noisy and unsafe. 1. If you’ve ever been here, they play music every single second the whole day in the hallway, even at the midnight. The cheap and thin wall can't hold any noise from the street or from the other buildings. 2. Paper wall: you can actually hear your rms voice with normal tone and volume. So ridiculous, right? Besides, hearing the footsteps from upstairs is literally a most common “white noise” here. So imagine being disturbed by the noise in all directions and then you get nothing to do about it. Let’s be straight, most of my friends living here for the past year move out due to the noise issue. Some of them don’t have a car but they need to live around campus so they have to put on earplugs to fall asleep. 3. The street is the most dangerous and noisy element here. I have been witnessing many times cops catching and arresting people around the building. The people from bar will destroy all your quiet and peaceful night. Imagine sleep with it. 4. Unsafe community: people can easily get into the building without using the fobs. The manger opens the door during the day. That means bad guys could sneak in and steal the packages or whatever. Couple of my friends told me that they lost packages here many times. Again, dangerous, super noisy like you literally live on a downtown street. If you can see this comment, plz, just be good to yourself and find a better place to live."

"Twenty and Grand is a great place to live -- especially as a Vanderbilt student! The apartment is conveniently located (not too far from Vanderbilt's campus, but also near to Midtown, Hillsboro, and even Broadway area). Shannon, Luis, CJ, and Hannah are all so pleasant to interact with and always so friendly (and definitely enhanced my experience living here!) The apartment building is very pet friendly and also quite clean! I would definitely recommend living here -- you won't regret it :)"

"I’d give 0 stars if that was an option. Worst apartment around here as far as I see. Building is so dilapidated. I don’t understand why they have to play songs in the hallways! The apartment vibe is bad enough, can’t they make it a even a bit peaceful by keeping the building quiet? Finally, the deal breaker for me is that the walls/windows literally have no sound insulation!!!!! At night can hear people talking loud and clear on the streets (I’m on the 5th floor) AND every single car that passes by. Haven’t slept well for the past two days since I moved in. Literally paying money to suffer here. Sacrificing my health and well-being and happiness in life. Literally so depressing to even enter this building."

"Twenty and Grand is an amazing building to live in. Having really missed having a doorman for the past year (after having a doorman in NYC for 7+ years), I decided to renew the lease after hearing that Stephanie (formerly the leasing coordinator) was taking over as the new manager. Stephanie is extremely sweet. She genuinely cares about the residents and goes above and beyond for the residents of the building. She is very responsive to all recommendations. The maintenance of the building is top notch! CJ and Luis gets maintenance requests done extremely quickly and are both always so positive and friendly while fulfilling the requests. I tend to submit a lot of work orders late at night and they are usually done by 10am the next morning! The building is in a prime location (safe and walking distance from bars/restaurants, yet quiet in my apartment), is in a very safe neighborhood, and has free coffee/snacks all day in the lobby. The only thing missing from the building is a doorman!"

"I can't say enough good things about Twenty and Grand. Since day one Shannon, CJ, and Stephanie have gone above and beyond and make me feel welcome, safe, and taken care of. The apartment building itself is always clean and well kept, and any issues I've had in my apartment have been taken care of immediately! If you are looking for an apartment in Nashville I highly recommend Twenty and Grand. I have lived here for almost three years and wouldn't want to go anywhere else, and I have to say it is the because of Shannon and CJ. To say they do a great job is a vast understatement. I love the building and the people in it!"
