Piedmont Pediatric Dentistry

"We switched our insurance plan and were looking for a new pediatric dentist for my 2 YO and 4 YO. I emailed the office and they confirmed that we would have a 20% copay. What they didn't disclose to us is that the 20% is based on an "agreed upon pricing" with the insurance and NOT what they were charging us. So we ended up having to pay $226.40 on a $600 something bill. Both kids only had a general cleaning and no x-rays were done. They gave us some discounts but refused to write off more than that. I understand that it was my mistake for not fully understanding our charges and believed what the receptionist said without verifying with my insurance company. I just wished they had better explain the charges before we agreed to the services. Dr Negron was very rough on my 2YO for his first appointment and instructed the nurse to hold him down while he was crying very hard. My 4 YO did well and followed his instructions and she had a more pleasant experience. We will not be returning to this dentistry."
