The apartment community itself is lovely. Clean, nice, and warm and cozy. Brittany really went out of her way to ensure I enjoyed my experience and I would recommend her to anyone! "The Belvedere has excellent rates. It’s the perfect location for families or singles. There is a great magnet elementary school located right across the street and a middle school and high school within 2 miles. There is also a park and a community center located across the street the complex buildings and grounds are clean, the neighbors are friendly and helpful. you can’t go wrong with any of the restaurants in the area. All of the food is fantastic and most of which is in walking distance. The apartment so also close to the Titans stadium, which I absolutely love! The complex is secure. The staff is warm, inviting and helpful. Brittany and LV always take the time to address any concerns and are very friendly and energetic. They make you feel like you matter the moment you meet them. I give the Belvedere five stars and I would give Brittany and LV 100 stars if I could!"

"Current resident here - my experience so far has mirrored those in previous reviews, and I wish I had considered them more before choosing to live at the Belvedere. As others have mentioned, maintenance issues are an ongoing problem and routine requests are repeatedly ignored or "fixed" in a way that does not address the issue. An ongoing leak in my bathroom wall and ceiling continues to cause water damage and truly alarming signs of mold/mildew (see pictures) yet every time I've notified maintenance they simply paint over the wall and nothing more. Beyond building maintenance issues, apartment management has a total lack of transparency. Water utility charges are billed through the apartment management, meaning that residents have no visibility as to actual water usage or charges from Metro Water Services. My water bill from apartment management has risen an absurd amount over the past few months, and my October water bill for my 867 sq. ft. apartment was $180 (!!). My numerous requests for additional information as to why my water bill increases +$60 every month were completely ignored and I was generally treated by management like a nuisance for asking... Between the total lack of maintenance and the fact that what I actually pay in "rent" each month is mysteriously hundreds of dollars more than the dollar amount listed on my lease, I cannot recommend the Belvedere and I would urge any prospective resident to seriously consider the long list of negative reviews before signing a lease here. It's a shame because the location is great, the building is beautiful, and the apartments have a ton of character, but the management/maintenance issues make living here not worth the headache."

"The Belvedere is a wonderful place to live! Smack dab in the middle of east Nashville, the location and renovated apartments are one of a kind. You really can't find any apartments like these in East Nashville. On top of that, the management has been extremely accommodating throughout our time at the Belvedere. Lauren, Lindsay, and Eli have been effective and efficient with any problem we have needed to be taken care of. You really can't find a better staff and apartment complex in Nashville. 100% recommend!"

"I’ve lived at the Belvedere for about 6 months now and have had an overall enjoyable experience. The units are filled with so much charm and character. I will say that yes, there are at times, things that need to be repaired due to how old the building is, but that’s the chance you take to live somewhere with such charm. New management has recently taken over, and I do have to say it’s been a HUGE improvement. Here’s what I experienced with the PREVIOUS management company (based off previous reviews) - insects, yes. (Since new management, I haven’t seen one. And trust me, as much as I HATE insects, I’d be the first to complain. I haven’t seen a single one since new management has taken over.) - delayed response time, yes. (Since new management, you will get a response incredibly fast and you’re NEVER ignored) -maintenance issues, terrible. (Since new management I have seen improvement. Keep in mind, old buildings will require repairs. My door knob was stuck and maintenance came and repaired it successfully. Management is great at replacing something entirely if maintenance can’t fix it. They’ve replaced my knob as well as provided a brand new tub. Maintenance really has improved since new management) - helpfulness, non-existent with previous management company. (New management has been incredibly helpful and super responsive. Once, I had accidentally locked my keys in my apt while traveling for business and Lauren was so kind to go and secure them for me over her lunch break and hold until I returned so I wouldn’t be locked out. 2.) while traveling I asked if they could place packages in my apartment over holiday and management team was kind enough to do so.) I’m giving this review a 4/5 stars purely because of maintenance. Though, I haven’t had the personal experience with maintenance as others have posted, I will say they do get the job done. I’m hoping the next improvement management wise is the maintenance crew. They do get the job done, just not super chatty when they’re doing so. Overall, new management has changed my opinion of The Belvedere. When under previous management I was in the mindset of never renewing my lease, but now seeing so much improvements with new management, I’m reconsidering."
