"These reviews do not lie. I’ve been experiencing pain in my mouth that I was sure was not tooth related. Went to a different office and was told “maybe you just need to floss n brush more”? NOT the answer I wanted to hear. I try Bay Star because I see the reviews are good. Only issue is I was not sure if they’re in network with my insurance. Decided “why not”? I tried in-network, and that failed me. So away I went. Told the DDS my issues and he just immediately without even seeing the X-Rays yet that the previous office took, told me “your a teeth grinder”. Each question he asked me nailed the mark of what I’ve been experiencing. I’m so happy to finally have answers. For sure I am making them my regular office. The staff is really nice. Super knowledgeable. No wait time if you’re showing up on time. Plus they stay on top of communicating with you. Making sure everything that’s needed from you in order for them to provide the BEST service possible. They’re multilingual. English, and Cantonese (2 that I know of). Being married to a Cantonese speaking man, he would 100% appreciate that. HIGHLY RECOMMEND to fellow San Mateo and Foster City residents. I live less than 5mins from them. Right next to the 99 Ranch that I shop at. Finished my dentist appt. Then got some groceries right after!"

"My kids and I have been patients for about 1.5 years already. Dr. Zhang and all of his staff are very nice and skilled. Yesterday I had an issue with my tooth and made a phone call for an appointment. They scheduled my appointment with Dr. Zhang righty away. That was the first time fixing my tooth in the US and I was becoming a bit nervous, but everything was done smoothly and quickly. Everything was perfect. I am so satisfied with the care. I can't appreciate enough while they are available when I need them during busy holiday season. Thank you so much!!"

"I’ve been coming to their San Mateo and now new office for years. Here are the winning points for me that deserve 5 star: 1. I love how attentive to your needs they are. 2. They had compassion when I had panic episode before tooth removal, they sent me home, not to feel overwhelmed and said to make an appointment when I’d feel ready. Then on the next visit they provided me with the upmost comfort! 3. Doctor is always informative and takes time to make sure that I’m comfortable with my choices. 4. William, is always nice and accommodating on the front desk. 5. Clean and pleasant office. 6. And very importantly - there are no hidden charges!!!
