"I’ve tried Hand Touch many times throughout the last 10+ years, and sadly I won’t be going back again. My last two manicures/pedicures have absolutely been awful. The most recent one took over 2 hours and was uneven, bubbly, lopsided, the shapes are all wonky, paint all over my skin (despite having long natural nails), etc. I felt like I had to walk the manicurist through every step, but it kept getting worse. I hope they’re able to turn things around but the quality is just too poor for me to return. I always give local businesses the opportunity to make things right before coming online for reviews, but when I told the guy at the front I wasn’t happy when I left, he rang my card up anyway and didn’t offer me anything to fix it."

"Not only was this a bad manicure, the whole atmosphere was weird and unprofessional. The man sitting at the door smelled so bad that it was hard to talk while he was walking by, I asked people not to move my backpack yet, and they immediately dropped it on the ground and did not pick it up, and then when I paid, on top of it being really expensive, they asked me if I was going to tip more when I tipped 20%. The whole experience was jarring, and I feel like I could have gotten just as nice a manicure from my roommate."

"Best nail salon in the city! Super friendly staff and great prices. They’re always busy and there’s a reason: awesome service. They always offer a neck and back massage while you wait for your nails to dry and I highly recommend doing this! Very relaxing atmosphere and I always feel well taken care of here. They also remember your name once you come in a few times which is nice!"

"This is my Go-To nail salon. They do the basics and do them well - manicure-pedicure. They have the best colors in normal, gel polish and gel nails. They massage your feet, hands AND back! It's the best value and the women that work there are the best on Chestnut. I have been a regular customer for over a year. I only go here and bring my friends and they come from other areas of the city. I have been in and out within and hour."
