"First visit: Nice Asian lady. Decent men's haircut. No wait, reasonable price. MAJOR EDIT / second visit: Worst. Haircut. Ever. Not-so-nice white lady. Took all of five minutes for her to shave off everything on one side with the clippers but stop about an inch lower on the other side. I look like an escaped mental patient now, the day before a big sales presentation. I'm going to have to wear a hat for weeks. And I ain't even picky about my haircuts. When I expressed my dismay, she just rumpled my hair a bit and said, "Oh, it'll be fine." Didn't even so much as dust the hair off my shoulders. Sideburns uneven, missed a patch on the nape of my neck altogether, etc etc. My paper shredder would have done just as good a job and would have been more pleasant. To top it all off, she threw my new phone on the floor when she suddenly yanked the apron off me. No apology -- she actually insinuated that it had been my fault. MAJOR EDIT EDIT: I went back the next day for a refund, indignant, after having friends verify that I looked a bit, um, unbalanced. Nice Asian lady greeted me and said she could blend / fix the disaster under my hat. And you know what? She did! It's shorter than I would have liked, but I can face the world hatless now."

"The place is clean, professional, and comfortable (if a bit sterile). I was happy with the haircuts I was given and their rates, while not cheap, were fair. All of the above was true for my most recent visit, except I wasn't satisfied with my haircut. I asked her to give me a good trim and shorten my beard a bit. Instead, she essentially just cut around my ears and shortened my bangs (I had to ask her to do the latter), leaving the hair on the crown of my head virtually untouched. Maybe I should have been more specific or asked her to keep cutting, but I really didn't notice how long she had left my hair until I left the shop and I felt it in the breeze. It didn't feel like I got a full haircut. Correct me if I'm wrong, but a 'good trim' implies shortening all your hair, not just the sections the barber feels like cutting. In any case, I didn't have this problem during my prior visits. Some of the stylists here really are better than the others, so if you find someone you like, stick with them. Also, make sure you're fully satisfied with your haircut before leaving and be ready to call out the barber if you feel he/she did a sub-par job. I'll give this place another chance, but if I leave unhappy again, I won't be coming back."
