"If we could 0 stars we would. We were so excited to move in here May 2023, but it all went downhill after. This seems like a big issues other residents have been having. The complex has so many issues, and none are being addressed. From cars getting broken into (Nashville wide issue we know), trash not being handled, elevators always down (no communication), parking spaces very limited & small, dog poop everywhere, management being nonexistent…. We could unfortunately go on. The latest is that we have had some boxes sitting in the hall waiting to be taken by trash. They sat for four days, but our bags of trash would get taken… While my husband was leaving our apartment, a leasing agent is on our floor and asks us to handle them. What? What do we pay you for? We emailed RAM and they were apologetic and said they would handle it, but to even have had someone tell us to handle something that we pay monthly for??? Makes no sense. Refund us and we’ll for sure handle our own trash??? The complex is not safe, overall disgusting. It may look nice and new, but it is not worth it. It makes me sad."
"Delaney is seriously the best and deserves so much credit when it comes to trying to keep this place afloat. With that being said, I signed my lease early 2023 and it was great! Great staff, always checking in, very clean and always clean, good community of people. But it went down hill towards the end of 2023 very very quick. There’s always a rotation of new staff, the floors are disgusting and stained, the trash is rarely properly handled well, gym equipment is always broken, gym is never cleaned or maintained properly, packages being stolen from me, my roommate, and plenty of others I see, interesting community of people (no offense… but who in their right mind punches a treadmill screen??), and I just don’t feel too safe here anymore. It’s just a shame because the apartments were so beautiful!! The location is perfect too. I really wish the best for this place and the new staff."
"I would rate this zero stars if allowed. Complex is nice looking but how the management company runs the property is trash. My opinions do not involve the current office staff - I’ve learned a lot is out of their hands. The management company is refusing to take action to provide additional safety measures after multiple car break ins and robberies. I’ve been told any camera footage will be sent to police but I cannot see. We haven’t had trash pick up in over a week - regardless of winter weather, they should communicate so residents don’t continue to put trash in the interior hallways. It now reeks. One of the elevators has been down for almost a week - no communication. I think all we are asking for here is simply communication. (I did find out that leasing staff can’t send a property wide email without management company approval) Additionally, this complex is not safe. Aside from the vehicles (I get it, it’s a Nashville thing right now). My safety also includes walking from my car to the building- which with the winter weather, has NOT been attended too at all. Just do yourself a favor and live elsewhere."
"Delaney is simply amazing! A total of 9 people showed up at the same time for tours and she took all of us together! It went smoothly and everyone got to see what they wanted too!"
"I've lived at Sterling Nashville West for one day shy of a full month. I was very excited to live here after leaving Los Angeles, and I really do like the floorplan and the kitchen is gorgeous. I have attached photos of what The Sterling deemed move-in condition. When I voiced this to the office, they were very receptive & apologetic, but I was told to email them because the person in the office was just there helping and could not really do anything. The sole maintenance guy did come by and help touch up paint and caulking some areas. He no longer seems to work here. I live on the ground floor and kill approximately 8 bugs a day in my unit. Usually centipedes or spiders. Thankfully no roaches! I get that it's Tennessee and my apartment backs up to a wooded area, just be aware that you will have bugs in your unit. There is a stain on a base board that keeps coming through after it was re-painted. Would love it if it was replaced so I don't have to see this in my $2,300+ a month apartment every day. I had some broken cabinet pegs when I moved in and it took over 2 weeks to get new ones. Unfortunately, the "new" maintenance man who gave them to me, let me know that he does not actually work at this property, only helping out, which makes me wonder why this building can't keep staff? The person who I worked with before I moved to Nashville is also gone. The hallways of my building (E) are revolting thanks to the trash concierge (who may or may not show up on scheduled evenings), there's liquid garbage drops everywhere. I will give credit to the leasing office for offering me a parking solution for a friend coming by, at least after all of these online complaints they are addressing that issue. However, I have to say that the spots are far too small. I pay $100 a month for a reserved spot and sometimes I cannot use it because if someone parks slightly skewed, there's no way I can safely park my car and exit the vehicle. Once again, there is NO AFTER HOURS HELP HERE at the Sterling. On THAT note, the fire alarm went off this morning at 6am and it was not turned off until 8am. This is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE. The fire department came and could not turn it off because they did not have the key to the room where the equipment is. This also happened the night I moved in around 3am, but it was resolved quickly. False alarms happen, but letting the alarm blare for TWO HOURS before anyone from management showed up is abhorrent. I literally left the property and came back twice - the second time it had just stopped. Additionally, an alarm has been chirping from the elevator across the hall from my unit for nearly 24 hours. I am listening to it right now as I write this review from my gorgeous granite island. I have requested a direct contact with RAM from building management because I'd love to speak with them directly, however I haven't received it from the leasing office. I'd like more than a generic corporate response to this review that they are working on the issues. I'd love to be able to revise my review as time goes on. Please get better. Please hire competent staff and treat them with enough respect and compensation that they stay and stop quitting. Hire some sort of call center/dispatch so residents can get actual help from you in future cases of false alarms. Repaint the parking lines so they make sense. These are relatively easy fixes for a complex as large as this. I am rooting for you, Sterling & RAM! FIX THIS MESS."
