"As a resident here, I strongly advice against it if you like being outside, the amount of dog poop surrounding my apt and the entire complex is insane, I’ve complained many times about people not picking up after there dogs and they have yet to do anything about it and it’s been months now, the fields are not usable because piles Of dog poop cover the grass, I called they gave me attitude saying “it’s a long process” but just to pick up dog poop? They also told me the covered up black wall that use to be a fireplace in my apt would get covered up and fixed, it’s been about 6 months since they told me that before signing my lease still nothing done about it, the sad thing is this place has amazing potential but not a care to clean the is place up, the photos are all taken in a span of 5 min in the same field just to give an idea, and it’s like that all over"
"Previously lived here, I thought it would be a great experience but unfortunately it was not and I ended up breaking my lease. Destiny Brown helped me get in and was very helpful with anything I needed while there. The other lady (Andrea) was my neighbor and she worked in the office, felt like she couldn’t speak back or anything until I put my notice in to leave. Before moving in seemed great but after wasn’t the best and tried not to complain. Neighbors were loud, you could hear everything through the walls and below they could hear me too. Floor needs to be replaced so does the AC system there. Summer time was extremely hot AC did not work! It was a decent apt just seem like they updated appliances but did not fix serious issues that was needed with the complex."
"I would give it negative 5 stars if Google would allow. Don’t let the fake planted 5 star reviews by their staff fool you. The property is egregiously worn down and the smiles from the front office end once your lease is signed. The floors and walls are paper thin, the common areas are unkept, management seems to be bothered when you request them to do their job and fix an issue, and the lovely Andrea has no problem raising her voice and speaking over you when flustered by her own miscommunications. If you’ve signed a lease already, I’m sorry. If you haven’t, run. Cute new name though."
"I lived at this location for about 6 months When I first moved to Nashville. The staff was very accommodating when moving in, with emails throughout my stay. It was convenient as they notified at every change that occurred on the property, and notified us when trash was going to be picked up and to not be park near the trash can. My apartment was located on the end of the Cumberland 2, and there was lots of parking in that area, but it looked like it was pretty packed closer to the entrance until you got close or near building D at the end of the loop. I chose the apartment because it had granite countertops and had been repainted, or updated. They were hookups for laundry which worked well with the dryer and washer that I brought with me. Service calls for air conditioning/heat and other various requests were fulfilled within a day and the staff was accommodating throughout. A service worker brought me a small personal heater to accommodate me in my room as me and my roommate had different temperature preferences during the winter. The only reason I didn't give it five stars was because the apartment that I had originally looked at was not the one that I was given. I remembered the walk to the one that I was shown, but upon arrival my key did not open it and I stood there until I realized that the number I had written down in my notes was not the one that was on my lease. The apartment I had on the paperwork did have the same amenities that I was looking for so I just didn't worry about it. I didn't get pictures before I left, but the dishwasher could not open all the way due to the new appliances being a bit larger than the previous. The door of the dishwasher would hit the corner of the stove and would only open so far. It made loading the dishwasher a little tedious but everything, all the appliances, worked properly. They were all new. One of the closets, coat closet, railings just needed a screw in one end to hold it up, but I did not use it, so it didn't bother me. For a new renter, I would just make sure that you take down the number of the apartment that you are shown, and check that it is the one that is on the paperwork before you sign your lease. When you do a walk through, check all of the appliances, swinging doors, hinges, and anything that you'll be using on the daily to make sure that it's operationable. In addition, make sure all of the doors lock properly including the door to the balcony or patio depending on whether you get on floor one or two, and the front door. Check the air conditioner and make sure that it is working properly as well, that it is blowing cool air while running. Other than these things my stay was nice, staff was friendly every time I called, and timely with responses upon my move out. I may update this depending on how everything is reviewed and after receiving my deposit."
"I lived at the views on the Cumberland 1 & 2 since 2018 through the end of April 2022. I would not recommend this property in it's current state with it's current leadership. I lived on the Views 2 side for all but the last year of my lease when I moved to Views 1 when I moved into apartment F6. During that time I had many issues that were never resolved or taken seriously by the management team, including all the way up to the district manager. Over the past year 2021/2022, I submitted at minimum 12 work order request for the Air and Heating in the apartment after getting a $600 utility bill. Although the complex did refund a portion of the bills, they never took steps to actually fix the issue. The weather just got to a point where heat and air wasn't needed. When I moved out, the issues till was not resolved. I filed at minimum 3 work orders because the upstairs bathroom would flood the kitchen. At no time did anyone to come to look at the issue and it was still not repaired at the time of my move out. I submitted at minimum 3 work orders because the sliding balcony doors were hard to open. They came to clean the tracks twice but never resolved the issue. I also reported multiple times that the patios flooded every time it rained making them useless and when it wasn't raining they were covered with dirt and mud. There is a clause in the lease that states a tenant can move to another apartment after they have lived in their current apartment for 6 months without having to pay to break the lease. The community leaders/manager would not allow me to exercise this option of the lease - each time they would say the had not vacancies and would put my name on the waiting list. This was a LIE because people are moving in and out of the apartments weekly. Apartment F6 has/had a whole in the downstairs sub-floor which is a trip and fall hazard - This was reported to the management multiple times and no one ever came to review the issue. Lastly, even though I could go on, the pictures the community post online are all lies - the property is a mess, the buildings are falling down around everyone. With all this, your biggest problem will not be the poor condition of the property and apartments but will be the disrespect and lies you will get from the office staff and management. Take a moment to read the reviews - consider them wisely, because I can promise, if you move here, you will regret it."
