"I lived here for one year circa 2021/2022. I can’t really recommend it and overall had a very mixed/negative experience but I’m also aware that many of my neighbors loved living there. I can tell that from the reviews that the on-site management employees have changed since I left, but regardless of the current employee you are dealing with a very greedy, very corporate, very money-grubbing property company that does not care at all about its tenants - only profits. The rent is outrageous considering how tiny the spaces are, I was moving from out-of-state so I did not look at it first hand, which is my own fault. Regular outages of power and Wi-Fi. Construction noise all day on all sides of the building for the entire year I was there, although maybe this has changed by now. THIN WALLS and as a result VERY LITTLE PRIVACY. You can hear everything that goes on in any unit thru it’s front door in the hallway. I could hear literally every word my very talkative female next-door neighbor said on the phone which she was on 24/7, through the wall next to the bed, so I was forced to hear her loud blathering for a year. Some of the neighbors were friendly but many were snobby and rude (that’s Nashville for you) which when sharing a kitchen or even an elevator with strangers makes for an uncomfortable experience."

"This is the perfect place to move if you want a bullet hole in the hood of your car or your window to get smashed in every week. Just last week, we had nine car break-ins in our own parking lot. Management still won’t let me out of my lease after I woke up with a bullet hole in my car in their paid parking lot."

"I lived here from May 2022-May 2023. While I loved the location and convenience I ultimately decided I would like to live somewhere a little bit bigger and thats the only reason I moved. It was very affordable, in a great neighborhood and the staff and other tenants were very pleasant to be around. If you're looking for a fun place to live and to meet new people. This is the place for you!"

"Not sure where to start,Working in Nashville from Houston staying at a decent Hotel I was spending all my perdiem I wasn’t left with no Broadway money after many google searches I came up on Martin Flats I was sold when I seen the units were furnished I gave them a call Cristen Vernon answered my call she was very helpful answered all my questions I was able to move in 4 days even after I moved in she checked up on me to make sure everything was good I would recommend this place to workers working in the area way better than a hotel it’s a home away from home"

"I lived at Martin Flats for 6 months in 2022. This is honestly a fine place to live. It was super convenient, clean, well-managed, and a GREAT location. The location is only getting better the last time I was there. This style of living is perfect for students, traveling professionals, minimalists, and people who are just moving to Nashville or are in between living situations. I honestly wish I had lived there for a little bit longer. With all of these positives there still exist some drawbacks to living here. For starters, the parking situation is tough. There is a small parking lot that residents have to pay extra for and they are not joking when they say they will boot your vehicle if you park there without paying. I walked by there one morning and saw several cars booted. It was funny. There is plenty of street parking but there are also a lot of cars in the neighborhood. With more people coming in, I can only foresee this getting worse. If you don’t have a car, PERFECT. This type of living is perfect for you. I would regularly use a scooter to get to downtown and only needed my car to go to work. There is also a great storage space for scooters and bikes. The biggest drawback is the noise. The walls separating the suites are so incredibly thin (and surely without any insulation) that you will hear every phone conversation, television show, and even flatulence. Yes, flatulence! I would constantly hear my neighbor break wind. It was more comical than a real disturbance. You hear the sounds from the suite next to your bed the most. To be absolutely fair, they did have quiet hours that were strictly enforced. I believe management knows that this is a problem and they should not be blamed. I would give this place a 4.5/5 in all honesty. It was a great place to call home. I would definitely recommend living here if you meet any of the criteria I mentioned earlier."
