Jacob's Deli & Grill

"I have been getting the Reuben with Swiss sandwich at Jacob's for many years and have always said it was the best Reuben sandwich in Knoxville. However today was not the case. My sandwich although good did not have the Swiss cheese that makes it so gooey and excellent.(I did ask for it with the Swiss cheese!) I also ordered a small order of onion rings and a side salad. The salad in the past always has crackers included, but were not included today for some reason. Also, prices have gone up! Jacob's has always been a great place to eat and the staff very friendly. Maybe just an off day?? Hate to see prices go up and quality go down!"

"Unfortunately this wasn't as good as our last visit when Jacob was still at the grill. At that time, we raved about what a great burger it was, true to its advertising. We told friends and family to go there. We stopped today and were disappointed with the quality of the burger. The meat just didn't taste very good and it was overcooked, no juice at all. Also the French fries tasted like a cheap frozen kind. On a positive note, everyone who worked there was so nice, friendly and efficient. I hope maybe we just stopped on an off day."

"Very good hamburger. First time eating here. The employees are super nice. It feels like a small country restaurant that moved to the city. I went in around 2:30 so it wasn't busy but the couple of customers that were there they knew by name. That really tells me something about a restaurant when they have regulars and treat them good."
