"I hate writing bad reviews but I just had the worst manicure experience at Lux SF. My manicurist was unnecessarily rough and was filing my cuticles left and right (yes, cuticles). She even drew blood. On top of that, the paint could have been closer to my cuticles, but instead my nails now look like they’ve already grown out a week. Based on this experience I will not be returning or recommending this place to anyone."

"LUX SF is a great place to get all of your mani/pedi needs satisfied! We left today with our hands and feet feeling very confident. The ambiance is so relaxing and welcoming. The technicians are so friendly, kind hearted, and professional. Today I got a male mani/pedi treatment and my gf got a gel mani/pedi treatment— we enjoyed every bit of our experience. "They don't have a wide range of colors for their gel polishes. They have a lot of variation of the same colors. Really liked this place and have been going for years, but I think they need to modernize their color options for both gel and regular polish and see what is trending. Also my recent gel mani just lasted a couple of days before chipping and only 5 days before a big chunk came off of one of them. I was hoping this would last a couple weeks at least. The staff is all very nice though!"
