"Dr. Whing Ming Lee is our family dentist. She has treated me, my husband and my 2 kids. She is very patient, extremely understanding and great bedside manners."
"Very nice and caring staff. Super friendly.. Doctor is very knowledgeable and experienced. Special thanks to Eva for extra tips on flossing. Overall good experience."
"I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Lee. My wife, my daughter, and my brother all see her. My daughter is 9 years old. We used to all see different dentists until my daughter's "children" dentist freaked her out. Root-canals, crowns, extractions! Way too many procedures for a 5 year old at the time. Then we found Dr. Lee. So super nice. AND SHE DOES NOT over-recommend procedures. My daughter never needed "laughing gas" with Dr. Lee either, but always needed it at the kids dental place. And she never freaks out going to see Dr. Lee regularly. My daughter even accompanies my wife when my wife has an appointment. Dr. Lee just makes her feel comfortable and at ease she says. Anyway, that's the kid and parent angle. I changed to Dr. Lee after seeing see all that. As an adult patient, my perspective is almost the same. I have never waited for more than 5mins to see her. She always does all the work herself, no hygienist. For me, that's a HUGE plus. The skill level, even for a cleaning is just so different. And she's never in a rush. Always spend time to ask how I am doing, how my family is doing, and shares the same about her family. That's customer service!! That's trust right there. So we love Dr. Lee and have recommended many friends and co-workers to her."
"When I first called Dr Whingming Lee's office and asked if he had any openings on September 1, I was sharply told by a man, "First of all, it is she not he!" That was jarring. When I did see her on Sept 1, I had about a 10 minute wait and then spent nearly three hours to get a temporary crown put on, as she went back and forth between me and others, I presume. When she finally finished prepping the tooth, her dental assistant, Dee, put on the temporary crown. I went to the restroom (outside the office) when I left, and I saw that the bottom of the crown was black. There was also smeared blood across my bottom teeth, which was shocking. My body was so sore from being there for so long, that I just left. When I went back on September 16 for the crown, Dr. Lee removed the temporary one, and I told her about the smeared blood and how bad the temporary one looked. She said nothing about the blood (no apology, nor did she say she would talk to Dee about it, as that doesn't meet her standards), but, she did laughingly say that she thought I had done something to the temporary crown! The permanent crown obviously didn't look right - it sat up too high - and another impression had to be taken. She then fixed the temporary one so that it looked and fit much better. Two weeks later, I called to ask about the crown and was told to come in, yet again, for another impression, not a crown. What happened? Who knows, as they weren't forthcoming with what derailed it this time. And it would be October 7 before she could schedule me for that third impression. When Dr. Lee was putting the impression device into my mouth, she firmly told me to be sure and bite down hard and hold it until she came back. The implication was that I was doing something wrong, but I always did exactly as she instructed and have never needed more than one impression for any of the other crowns I have. Nor have I ever had a problem with any crowns fitting properly. On October 27 I, at long last, got the crown put on. Before I was out of the chair, she handed me something to sign saying she had put a crown on. Over the weekend, I realized the crown was a tight fit, wasn't flush with my other crown/tooth and has an edge on the back side, bottom of it that my tongue constantly goes to. I should've told her and had her redo it, but I couldn't relive that strenuous ordeal. Adding to that decision was the fact that I have a painful leg and back issue. Having to go back for possible lengthy, multiple trips was too much to bear. I had also let her know that I needed a teeth cleaning, and I was told two things: it had to wait until I got the crown on, and since I had a deep cleaning before, I would need it again. That type of cleaning has a co-pay for me of $70 per quadrant vs $25 for a regular, full-mouth cleaning. I never did get my teeth cleaned there. By the time the crown was placed, I never wanted to go there again. Dr. Lee does have a kind and gracious demeanor; it is her professional skills that are lacking, as the two other reviewers have noted. There's more for me to write about, in a separate review, during an emergency visit to her office on Jan 6, in which she failed me miserably. Even my dental insurer expressed surprise at how things were handled and asked me to write them about it and the crown problem. Finally, a different dentist I recently went to has a complaint with the way the crown looks and is placed. So, I will have to actually do something about that, after all. This dentist also recently did a regular cleaning, no scaling involved."
"They have no idea what is going on... Got in the chair, they didn't have my info so I had to go back to the "waiting room". Then back to the chair and the doctor said she couldn't take out my wisdom tooth. Didn't even do an exam, I don't know what happened there. Complete joke"
