"LIED TO, SCAMMED, PLAYED, AND UNETHICAL BUSINESS "We've been doing hair for 20 years, we know what we're doing" I asked JENNY CUONG for a color correction + balayage via Instagram. I was VERY CLEAR about getting the BOX PLUM DYE out of my hair and asked if my hair corporate could we go lighter, JENNY SAID YES. We settled for a chestnut color before the apt. She proceeded to BLEACH my hair during the apt and said that it was light enough to do an ASH color. Because my trust in her, I was under the impression we did a FULL color correction and then an ASH BALAYAGE. I paid a total of $255, $30 deposit using Apple Pay, $25 tip in CASH and $200 for the "color correction and balayage" charged to my card. I'm not going to deny that I was SO HAPPY when she turned the chair around I saw my two ash blond pieces framing my face but that happiness came CRASHING down the next day when I saw my hair in the SUN. There was SO MUCH BOX DYED hair, I started questioning if I even got a color correction. I was very weary about reaching back out and addressing my concerns because Jenny was very nice to me in the salon and through Instagram. She was kind, easy to talk to and seemed like a genuine person asking about my life and even stated "THINK OF THIS AS A THERAPY SESSION INSTEAD OF A HAIR APT". THE DISTRACTION WAS ON POINT. When I finally said something to Jenny, she admitted that she did NOT do a color correction but a PARTIAL BALAYAGE with toner and said that a color correction was a lot more expensive. I was already willing to pay whatever to fix the box dye initially and to have a beautiful balayage. Jenny Cuong OVER charged me, LIED to me and TOOK ADVANTAGE OF ME. Her ONLY solution to fix her mistake was to DARKEN my hair. When I showed up to the salon to get my refund, I also noticed that their system to take payment can be MODIFIED. I gave Jenny CASH tip and she MANIPULATED the pos system to where it showed I paid using a debit card for the tip. JENNY KNEW SHE WRONGED ME. Her peer started saying "we know how to do hair, we've been doing it for 20 years" my response "okay then, tell me what your procedure is for a color correction" JENNY DID NOT LET HER PEER EXPLAIN THEIR PROCESS, she HUSHED her to get her to STOP TALKING. Although I did NOT get my full money refund I am SO GLAD I stood up for myself and called JENNY CUONG AND THE G SALON OUT ON THEIR BULLSHI**. PLEASE USE THIS AS A WARNING IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT BOOKING AN APT WITH ANY OF THEIR PEOPLE. It was so obvious that they work as a team to play people!!!!"
