"Biggest waste of time, this office is a joke. I had an appointment for over 5 months for a follow-up visit with Dr Braden only to be told when I arrived that they never secured authorization from the VA for the appointment. The next day they called to say I missed the appointment and to reschedule. I will never return or recommend."

"I called this office to schedule an appointment for my 20 y/o daughter, who suffers from tremors. They have gotten noticeably worse over the last few months and she needs to be seen. I was told that she must have a referral, even though our insurance does not require one. That was all I was told. I called her pediatric neurology office and they faxed a referral over. When I called to schedule the appointment after required referral was sent, I was told that the referring physicians office has to call April Belcher directly and set up an appointment and that it would take at least 6 weeks for an appointment but most likely 3-4 months. The lady that I was speaking to was so cold, rude, uncaring, and unhelpful that I finally said never mind. If someone hates their job so much that they have to be rude and unkind, they should find another job."
"I had an appointment with the Neurologist that I had been waiting on for months. The morning of the appointment I had received upsetting news of a close friend being in the hospital. I decided against reacheduling as again I knew it would be 6 months before another appointment. I drove over an hour in heavy traffic resulting in being 13 mins late. I take ownership in being late to the appointment. I explained the situation to the receptionist of my struggle to get there and was very coldly told their cut off was 10 mins late. She said she would go and check with the office manager and then came back and said I would have to reschedule and it would be another 6 months to see the actual Neurologist despite only having 1 other person in the waiting room. I became upset and told them I would find somewhere else to go, they never got a PA approved for my migraine medicine, never contacted me about and never returned my voicemails so I was done with the practice at this point. I left but then returned because I realized I needed my test results for my medical file. So I asked the lady if I needed to get it there or would I need to go to medical records to obtain a copy of that. The other receptionist who was much nicer than the 1st asked if I could just wait a few minutes she would try to get that for me. At this point I was crying over both the stress of missing the appointment and the news I had received that morning while I heard the office manager step in and comment that "I had shown my true colors" to the other ladies at the front. I let it go and also chose to let go the fact that they sent me a text saying I missed an appointment and to call to reschedule. It irritated me, but decided it was probably automated. I chose to write this now because when I asked my MD to refer me to a different Neurologist, they had contacted this office and was told I no showed. I called and reminded them of the situation and said that I didn't appreciate that they told my doctor I just didn't show up. The receptionist, in a very rude manner, told me that she don't know who said that but there is a note that stated the refusal to be seen. The whole experience was very upsetting. They were rude and uncaring. They never returned voicemails or followed through with my treatment plan. I didn't receive the EMG/NCS I needed and I still have migraines."
"I have been attempting to receive a prior authorization for over a month from this office. The reception staff is rude and will only ever transfer you to the nurses’ voicemail, which they never respond to. I have left two messages a week, two days apart, as requested if they don’t answer the first time. I have sent messages through my patient portal and I have had my insurance company call and email the exact form they need and still nothing. I haven’t been able to take my medicine in over a month. This week alone I have missed three days of work and ended up in the emergency room. I was run through stroke protocol and scared the hell out of all of my coworkers and family. All because this office cannot fill out a single form and send to insurance."
