Reviews of InterFaith Health Center
"To all the garbage people out there that have issues with a low cost, good doctor or nurse practitioner please go to the health department. This country is lucky to have clinics and people like this to take care of our low income population or honestly anyone in general. Im sorry if the phone support is not up your standards then please stop by and witness the hard work the fine ladies and gentlemen do here. So please stop complaining about the questions you called in to ask for other people. Just stop on by and ask face to face. Cause when it comes to it the person im looking at and talking too means a lot more. Also to the bigger issues I was lucky enough 10 years ago that they set up and sent me to Park West to have test done. Yeah thats how amazing they are."
"The staff at the his clinic has been nothing short of amazing. I had been a patient at Cherokee for 10 years. I was undertreated, neglected, shuffled around, and when one of my issues (oral thrush) kept coming back, my NP there just threw her hands and gave up. My first visit at Interfaith, I was prescribed a 10 day round of Diflucan and BOOM. It was gone. They have been nothing short of amazing and always get back to me in a reasonable amount of time. Yes, I did receive a $250 lab bill from Quest but considering the other savings, that's not really a big deal. I'm making payments so it'll be paid off eventually. If you think you're going to get better care with no insurance anywhere else, you're kidding yourself. Thank you Interfaith!!!"
"Have been a patient there for 3 years. My NP, Jenny Miller, is wonderful! She's very thorough and most definitely extremely cares for her patients. She answers all your questions and does not rush you. Best medical office I've been to. Excellent, best describes the care I receive there!!"
"What choice do you have? If you need specialist care and are uninsured, they are your only option. In return for that, you're going to get the worst GP care you've ever had. Be prepared for 5 hours of phone tag for any issue. Feel you need to be seen in person? Good luck, they prefer to guess at what's wrong and do everything by phone. And be forewarned, they frequently turn off their phones 15 to 20 minutes before they close. Unless you absolutely have to rely on their assistance for specialist care that's necessary to keep you alive, you are far better off going to any other sliding scale clinic. I miss being treated like a person, but poor people aren't people. Be happy you have even a chance at medical care."
"I disagree with the negative review about the black woman working at the front desk. Been going to this clinic for years, & she always treats me with kindness & courtesy. This is also true for most of the other personnel (many of whom volunteer their time, including doctors). The doctor I saw yesterday (a volunteer) was just as kind, friendly and caring as he could be - no "doctor's attitude" whatsoever. This clinic performs a much-needed service to those who could not otherwise receive help - and they do a very good job of it. I, for one, am very grateful."
