"Worst living experience ever. When I first moved in they gave me an apartment that was dirty and a lot of things was wrong with it. They gave me a check off list so I could let them know what needed to be fixed. I was under the impression that they would send maintenance to fix the things but instead I find out weeks later that I have to put in maintenance request for the very thing they should have been fixed before I got there. Then I had terrible neighbors beside me and above me and every time I complained they would not do anything about it to the point I had to start calling the police and keeping record so they would do something about. Do not waste your time because all they want is to get your money. The 2 bedroom apartment isn't even worth the rent and is small as hell. The workers are incompetent and lack effective communication skills. Only come here as a last result. I can not wait until my lease is up."
"As my first out of the home nest experience, I've been here since 2015. 1 bdrm year lease was $505 and the next year it was $515. After that I got a 2 bdrm @ $585. Staff and maintenance crew are always friendly and inviting. Most maintenance requests have taken a week at most, but as of lately, maybe due to shortage of maintenance personnel, it's taken a little longer. Problems like garbage disposal stopping, electrical shortages, and toilets being clogged in the winter time are seemingly common. Only this year have I been introduced to bed bugs; I'm guessing it's due to the construction taking place. There is a matter of deposits being unaccounted for, but that's being handled currently. I'd recommend this place to anyone though. The sunsets and looking out over a plain gives that rustic, country home feeling. Plus, you're like 10 mins from Beale St."
"I only gave them a one star because it wouldn’t let me give them a zero. I have been staying at the Fairways since 2015 and I can say I am trying to hurry up and move. My air started going out on July 1 and I put in the work order for them not to come out and look at it. When the month before it had went out. My air went completely out on July 25 I put in the work order still nobody came out. I put another one in on July 28. Today is July 30 and they keep telling me management is aware and working on getting it fix. Told me I still have to pay rent even with me not been able to stay in this hot box apartment. Told me I don’t have to stay here but who got money to get a room and still pay rent. I wouldn’t suggest nobody to stay here because they don’t fix anything and give you nothing but a run around when it comes to getting things fix in a timely manner. Don’t matter if it’s 100 degrees outside they going to take their time to fix your air and still want you to pay rent. I’m a very unhappy resident who don’t care when this lease up I’m moving."
"If i could id give it a -5. They do not fix ANYTHING then if your late on rent they want to charge you $10 a day which is wrong. The women in the office are rude and act like they don't know anything. They charge you for things that they didnt fix from the beginning and when you call cooperate they dont do anything about it. Id recommend NOBODY move here. I have pictures of how nasty the bathroom was (they painted over cigarette tar from 7 years of the previous tenant smoking), they waited 2 weeks to fix a dishwasher that had stopped draining and the water was yellow. They dont change the filters like they are supposed to. Stay away from this place. Ita going downhill FAST. The unit condition form i filled out when i moved in was lost YET after 4 months they signed off on it saying it was done...how can you "fix" something and you dont have the list so you don't know what to fix. When I said something to then they wanted me to redo it I told him no. They are charging me for something that was on my unit condition form because I didn't fill out of work order after I did the paperwork at the beginning. Its not MY fault your incompetent employees lost the paperwork."
"First off I'll start by saying DONT MOVE TO THE FAIRWAYS IF YOU HAVE OTHER OPTIONS! My boyfriend and I have been through so much and we've only lived here now for 4months. To start off the office staff are very unprofessional with the exception of 1 person. They would tell us we could move in on one date and then when we called they'd tell us a different date! We moved in a week after they told us we could, when we first got our apartment we noticed how outdated it was and there was a bullet hole in the window of the room that was gonna be our sons'. It took them almost 2 months to come out and fix that! There's always spiders in my apartment and mold in the bath tub! Now we moved here from Illinois so we had no idea how bad these apartments were and it was very last minute! There's also an issue with our air conditioning vent, whenever we turn on the air the vent leaks water. After the maintenance form was put in the office manager came to our apartment and said it was fixed but it definitely wasn't!! My boyfriend called and she told him again it was fixed but it wasn't! My boyfriend had to email the owners and even after that we were told to fill out another maintenance form which is very redundant when they know it's still not fixed! We would move out but we would be responsible for paying the rest of the rent for the remainder of the lease which is 8months so that's not an option! These are horrible apartments don't move here!"
