"I am so completely baffled & upset at the behavior of Dr.Petty today. I have HIGHLY recommended him to many people including my mother & step dad. I have been a patient of his, he has done surgery on my son twice, and he also did surgery on my mother. My step dad has severe allergies. He has a cough due to his allergies that he has taken allergy shots for with no relief. Today, he was told by Dr. Petty to LEAVE his office due to his cough. He is fully vaccinated, and wore a mask. I completely understand that people are cautious due to covid, but this should never be a reason to be rude and degrading to your patients. If you are considering Dr. Petty as your orthopedic doctor, please consider someone else. I know that my opinion means nothing to this doctor, but I hope it saves someone else the disappointment that my family felt today."
