"I have been a patient of Dr. Laymance for 8 years. I love him as my primary doctor and his staff. He has always been very professional, knowledgeable and compassionate. His staff has always made prompt phone calls back at my request when I have questions about my medical issue or medications. The staff will not stop trying until they back in touch with you. He has promptly made medical reports for those that requested my medical information. He has called me after hours to give me test results. Dr. Laymance saved my life in 2016. I was having trouble breathing. I called his office and told them I was having trouble breathing, they worked me in quickly. Dr. Laymance did a medical evaluation. One of the things that he did was an ekg and compared it to the one I had done at my yearly visit, there was a significant change. He order me straight to the emergency room. Apparently, I had a blood clot in my leg that had broke and travel through my heart and ended up with a massive blood clot blocking both my lower lungs (saddle embolism). Yes, I am lucky to be here. Also, my parents was his patients before I started seeing him as my primary doctor. Jan,09,2017 my father had earned his heavenly wings. The following day, my mother notify Dr. Laymance staff of dads passing and to cancel an appointment for the next day, they cried. At the end of the day, that night, Dr. Laymance called my mother. This comfort my mother a great deal. In addition his office sent a card to the family. Jan 16 2017, I had to make an appointment for a medical concern, my mother accompany me so she can thank Dr. Laymance personally. Of course his staff comfort my mother when they saw her. When Dr. Laymance came into the room, he immediately comfort my mother and began talking to her for a good 10 minutes. Then he address my concerns. He had order me to the hospital for a test as a precaution to rule the potential out. When he got the results Dr. Laymance called me after hours to inform me the good news. Dr. Laymance goes above and beyond the role of being a great doctor, he really cares about his patients. He is the best primary doctor I have ever had and the last one, the good Lord willing for a very long time. I know I am good hands and I trust him completely with my life and wellbeing. Dr. Laymance not only cares today about your health but he cares about your future health. Till this day, my mother is still Dr. Laymance patient. My mother and I have been a patient of Dr. Laymance since he had started. When he started his own practice in Morgan County to achieve his dream, there was no doubt we will follow him. My mother and I live Roane County. We are proud of Dr. Laymance accomplishments and proud to be call one of his patients and a friend. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR. LAYMANCE and his staff to anybody that needs medical attention. Urgent care is a great service for after hours, weekends, or anytime. I know if he is needed, he will not ignore his staff.
