"Made an appointment online for waxing and got a confirmation text. I showed up and they said “we don’t do waxing, you should have received 2 confirmation texts”. I am not sure why they would have waxing listed under their services and why you would have the ability to book a waxing service if it is not provided. There was no call or text after booking my appointment saying sorry not available or appointment declined."
"I'm here on a mini vacation and I stopped for a pedicure and nail fill. Incredibly gentle, and one of the best foot massages ever!. My nail fill was perfectly done and all the edges were smooth. Please stop by if you're here on vacation. You'll be glad you did! A few days later I brought in my daughter in law for a pedicure too. 10 stars if I could ✨️"
"Very nice and clean nail salon. No strong smells. I was a walk-in customer while visiting downtown San Diego. Staff is friendly and my wait time was short. I got a basic manicure and pedicure and the service was great and the price was right. I definitely recommend Valerie’s Nail Bar."
"I arrived 2 hours before closing on Sunday.Im a travel nurse doing vaccinations so I didn't bring my car. When I arrivedat Valerie's Nails, I was asked by Nina what service I wanted which was mani/ pedi she then told me quickly they were booked. So now I had to get another ride back to my hostel .I've seen this before , if you're professional and experienced a mani/ pedicure should not keep you past closing to the point where you lie about being booked. I live in Houston and this would never happen at the salons there. San Diego customer service is trash. You guys wouldn't make it in the south."
