I've always had problems with my teeth. My youngest memory of going to the dentist was 5 or 6, when my childhood dentist couldn't get the right tooth numb and kept re-injecting my gums over and over until I said to just get on with it and I'll white knuckle through it. I've seen many other dentists since then and I white knuckled through fillings, root canals, teeth extractions, and numerous dental cleanings just to get it over with. I grew to fear going to the dentist and my grandma would have to trick me into going. As a young adult, I stopped going to the dentist until one night, I had excruciating throbbing toothache that won't go away with anything. It was constantly a bad experience since then, maybe even worse as I felt all dental work I've had ended up needing to be re-done and/or cause me some kind of discomfort even after thousands of thousands of money spent. I wanted to pull all my teeth out so I never have to deal with any of it ever again. I'm so done with it. Until I went to Dr. Ferrer. I drive all the way from Orange County just to see Dr. Ferrer. I will trust no other dentist from now on. He is experienced and knows what he's doing, which is the most important thing about the dentist you choose if you want the best experience and have your money's worth. He is honest and trustworthy, which is the next most important thing. He won't recommend unnecessary work and has the integrity all healthcare providers should have. He also works fast. He and his staff are very efficient, without sacrificing anything to give patients the best care. He doesn't waste your time on small talk, but instead spends his time talking about your issues and still manage to be so kind, caring, and thoughtful. Most of all, he is very gentle with his hands. Right before my appointment, I heard him work on another patient and say, "All done" and the patient replied, "That's it?". My first dental work with him, I prepared to experience pain and discomfort for an hour or more. Instead, it felt like he started working on a tooth and I barely felt anything happen when he said, "All done". And with a mix of surprise and disbelief I said, "That's it?". My bite was perfect and it didn't need much readjusting. My teeth felt shiny and smooth when I touch them with my tongue. My gums, teeth, face, or head didn't hurt. I trust him because he re-made my bridge that was done by a different dentist for my front upper teeth and two crowns, which is a very big deal because these are the teeth I show when I smile. He sent the crowns back to the lab without me ever saying anything because he wanted my smile to look perfect. My gosh. I never thought I'd ever have a dentist who cares about my well being and happiness. He's a good guy and a great dentist. And what's a great dentist without a great staff? His staff are also experienced professionals, warm, welcoming, and a great asset to his office. They are the dream team of a pleasant dental experience. His dental assistants are fun to talk to, but are also thoughtful, gentle, and attentive. The front desk is professional, courteous, organized, and gets you everything else you need. Thank you Dr. Ferrer and staff for your impeccable service. You guys provide the highest standard of dental care I've ever had and I wish many more healthcare providers were like you.
