"WARNING!!! Do not go here!!! I went to this dental facility as a new patient. I was told I had gum disease and would lose my teeth by the time I was 40 (I’m 26) if I didn’t get a deep cleaning which involves ~$2,000 over the course of 4 appointments. I was also told I had 4 cavities, but then later in the appointment I was told I had 6. I was so terrified I was going to lose my teeth so I set up an appointment in a couple weeks because we needed pre-authorization for the deep cleaning. I called 3 days prior asking for a price and they could not tell me and even up until the night before my appointment I was never discussed expenses as I requested as I’m a young adult with a small budget! I had a horrible feeling in my gut about continuing but I had a family emergency and had to cancel anyways. 3 weeks later I had move to a new city and made an appointment with a new dentist redoing my X-rays and all. I mentioned my concerns about my poor dental health and what had happened with the prior dentist (this one). My new dentist reported with each gum pocket the status of health it was in as she went and I had 3 pockets that were gingivitis/nearing poor health (but NOT periodontal disease requiring deep cleaning) and everything else was GREAT. And then I was told I had 1 loose filling and 1 cavity. NOT 6!!!! Canceling my appointment HERE saved me thousands of dollars and pain. Please do not go here!!! I’m warning you. The dental industry is the the one industry that can easily get away with fraud. Advocate for yourself and always ask questions."

"I moved to SoCal in 2009… it is now 2021 and I’ve been seeing Dr Bowen for a couple months now. Every dentist I visited before Dr Bowen were horrible experiences to say the least. I always felt like I was a 20 minute time slot on someone else’s schedule. Every office had multiple Doctors so I never got to see the same Dentist twice and I was never able to feel like they cared for me for anything other then just another insurance company to squeeze money out of! By the time I found Dr Bowen my mouth was a mess.. ill fitting crowns that needed to be replaced. A root canal that needed to be redone because infection that was left behind was eating away at my bone! I was ready to let all my teeth rot away so I could just get dentures! My husband talked me into trying one more Dentist, Dr Bowen. The first couple visits I was super nervous, waiting for the pain and discomfort that had come during every other Dentist visit but there was none! Dr Bowen and the staff in her single Dentist practice are so wonderful. They make me feel like I’ve been a patient my whole life! The “dentist nerves” that so many of us have had our whole lives is none existent! I can actually chew on both sides of my mouth without feeling pain. If you’re looking for a dentist and dental office that isn’t an episode of “Fear Factor” the Dr Leticia Bowen is where you should go!"

"I donot recommend this dental office to anyone, while I was with one of my friend who was the patient, I saw the assistant Name Venessa putting on a gloves which already was used ,And she was going in and out the room with the same gloves and put her hand in my friends mouth, terrible and unacceptable in a medical field."

Maria I believe the insurance coordinator not only helped me with his insurance she went above and beyond to explain to him his insurance he said that was a first for him. Dr. Bowen was very thorough and explained in detail her findings. he's very happy he has found a new dental home every time he comes back from deployment.
