"I’ve been going to this dental office for years and feel that I can write a completely objective review. The truth is, they’re awesome ! The office staff are very courteous, helpful and greet you with a smile. The administrative staff is very good at settling the insurance paperwork and scheduling. The dental staff and doctors are friendly, informative, gentle and professional. I’ve had quite a few procedures done at this office and there is truly no other clinic I will go to. I drive all the way from Encinitas every time too! I’ve read many of the reviews here and many are ridiculous and petty. Many wrote bad reviews bc they’ve had to wait at times, but my guess is they’re walk ins or the staff had an emergency case because I always get in when I’m scheduled and when I’ve had to walk in for emergencies, they’ve always been available for me ! Give them a call and get in to see them. Even if you don’t come in with a smile, you’ll leave with one."

"Without going into details, I'm sitting here missing a molar and donor bone in my jaw after this clinic didn't stand by their own work, do due dilligence (aka, reading their own charts) and left me with a big open hole in my tooth for more than 4 months. Then didn't honor their own appointment! The excuses flow, yet I am LUCKY that there were not worse health consequences for me! There is a REASON extractions are SAME DAY WALK IN here. Really think about that. Edit: I went elsewhere for my now dental SURGERY and got taken care of *same day*."

"I have never been so frustrated!! I have been back and forth with them since September trying to get my crown done. They have rescheduled every single time. Today I called to verify it was a go. As soon as I pulled into a parking space they called to cancel. For a person with dentaphobia, this causes great anxiety. Anybody have a dentist that they can recommend?"

"This practice needs help.. I liked them for a while - as you see below but they gave gotten too busy and standards regarding work need attention. Though nice people… I have personally been going to North Park Dental for over 12 years. Back in the day, it was known as Hillcrest Dental and my initial visits were some of the best I have had. Over the years the North Park Dental family has gotten busier for sure. I personally have found all the staff ( especially the administrative) to be light and lively with their attitude and care about their jobs deeply. I live by the thought and intention “the answer is yes now what was the question....”? The practice has had this special (culture) in the past. They continue to strive for the best outcome for each client! I have been well taken care of all these years later! Like any relationship (especially as it applies to your teeth ) ask the important questions that are important for you! Though it’s a busy practice all of the staff are all well led by a Director who also is a dentist and continues to work patients individually! I can’t not say enough good things about this special team. Unfortunately, like any “good thing” sometimes you have to wait! You can see they have my vote otherwise I would have found something years and years ago. These comments apply to this North Park location specifically."

"Avoid if at all possible! I had been seen on Thursday and the PA was very judgmental. She told me she knew I had diabetes, so I get the blood work done, and not even close to having a bad glucose serum result. Turns out it was a thyroid issue and I was told to come in during walk-ins on Saturday. I get there at 8:10 and they have me fill out a walk in form. Then 30 minutes later they tell me the best they can do for me is make an appointment for next week. I ask why they don't have any walk in availability and apparently they only take the first 5 people. If I could give no stars I would. I'm changing my PCP because this place is nothing but a bad joke. The PA also called my emergency contact regarding my test results. I'm sure it was an accident but if she's that incapable of reading off of a page I guess I should have known to just avoid, avoid, AVOID!!!"
