"Honestly, I am sad to leave this review because I have been going to Dr. Karen for a few years and it was recommended to me by a friend, I had a lot of work done here and I had trusted Dr. Karen in caring for my dental health. Last month my crown that I did with them fell off, and the office wasn’t open that day as I had to go on a trip the next day, I went to a neighborhood dentist only to find out that there was decay under the crown, which is OK, since there is a possibility to develop a decay under the crown, However, what really shocked me, was that I religiously did deep cleaning with Dr. Karen and my most recent one was done back in June. They only did the one filling for a cavity and did not mention that I had any other cavities at all and when I did x-ray and examination with the other dentist , I found out that I had five cavities that ended up needing two root canals and FIVE Crowns. This is ridiculous. How could they not find out my cavities when I had a deep cleaning back in June the year if they could have caught those sooner and earlier, I wouldn’t need to do root canals and crowns for so many teeth and it will cost me so much money I am extremely frustrated and upset and I’m thinking of filing a complaint over this dental office. and I would not recommend the dental office to anyone anymore and I am extremely frustrated especially because what if my crown didn’t fall off and I didn’t happen to go to the other dentist? When will I find out about my cavities then? Will that be when I need to do teeth extractions and put in dental implants ??? Very Disappointed about what happened to me. Please be aware before you go."

"I always strive to trust and respect medical professionals, but my experience with Dr. Liu raised some concerns. I first visited due to persistent tooth pain, which resulted in a tooth extraction. However, the extraction didn’t alleviate my discomfort. In my subsequent visit, I was recommended a deep cleaning and was later faced with a hasty decision: have another tooth extracted or risk an infection. This approach was a stark contrast to my previous dentist, who typically aimed to treat issues without immediately resorting to extraction. Dr. Liu seemed particularly inclined towards suggesting artificial teeth replacements. Another unexpected aspect of my visit was when I was denied the opportunity to take my extracted tooth home. While this wasn't a major concern for me, it felt odd. Financially, their rates are on the higher side. I was billed over $5000 for cleaning and two extractions, even after my insurance covered $1500. I was initially assured that once my insurance reached its limit, I would face no additional charges. However, to my dismay, I received another bill a few months later, demanding a balance after insurance contributions. Although the remaining amount wasn't substantial ($100+), it was the lack of transparency and unexpected costs that disappointed me. They also threats you of sending your bill to collections, and I heard about other people facing similar situations. So watch out for that. In retrospect, I wish I'd consulted online reviews before choosing this clinic. Many others seem to have shared similar experiences. To potential new patients, I'd strongly advise reading feedback and perhaps considering alternative options before making an appointment."

"Dr. Karen Liu has been my dentist for over 10 years. She is very competent and professional. She has done numerous tooth fillings, root canals, tooth implant, gum disease treatments, in addition to routine teeth cleaning for me over the years and I am extremely happy with her work. She has state-of-art clinics and strives to keep up with the newest technologies in dental profession. Even though I live in Orange County, I’d rather drive 2 hours to see Dr. Liu than go to any local dentists. I can’t speak highly enough about Dr. Liu, and would recommend her to anyone who needs a great dentist."

"Dr. Liu has been our dentist for the past three years. Her office staff are professional, friendly and accommodating. She is an excellent dentist who alway briefs you and make sure that you understand the procedure. She and her staff are alway clear about the fees and schedule. After each surgery, she always makes sure that she follows up. Ever since I changed my family's dentist to Dr. Liu's office, we have had nothing to complain but praise. I would recommend to anybody with no hesitation."
