"I was so excited to get a blowout here to start my San Diego trip (I shop here every time I visit) I wanted to love my service but unfortunately it was the worst blowout I’ve ever had. There is so much product in my hair I can’t even run my hands through it, the curls are uneven, my extensions were handled so rough they are now loose (they were installed 4 days ago and were not prior to my appointment), I was burned multiple times (photo attached), when I pointed out my issues with the hair she told me she didn’t see what I saw The ladies at the front were very kind and I was offered a discount but after seeing how big the burns are and how bad the back of my hair is I’m upset I even paid as much as I did. Update - the owner did call me to discuss and was kind and understanding, she did offer a refund on the service and offered to personally do my blow out during my next visit - her professionalism definitely deserves acknowledgment"

"I was invited to be a hair model for color here, and it was a great experience all around. I let them know that I only use high lift color and they had no issues accommodating me. Brooke & Jennifer did my hair. They are both very talented, intuitive, and kind, and even brought me a snack from the cafe next door. My hair turned out exactly as I like it, and the service took a very reasonable amount of time. The salon has a spacious, artisanal, relaxed vibe. I will definitely book with them again. "I first went to Station Salon for the first time early March and was very lucky to have been scheduled with Gavin. I haven’t been able to find anyone who understood what it was I was looking for, all I knew is I wanted to get rid of the warmth but I always left with it looking exactly the same until I met Gavin. I honestly have never been as happy with my hair as I am now. Gavin listened, looked at pictures I had and gave me exactly what I wanted which actually turned out to be darker than I thought I wanted it to be and on the cooler, ashy side. I absolutely love it and highly recommend this extremely talented hair artist! I’m leaving next year to move out of State and am so sad I finally found someone like him and worried no one else will be able to do what he can."

"Highly recommend Jen L. You can consider her a talented blond specialist, highly skilled, creative, collaborative, meticulous and in vogue. I had a fabulous first appointment here since moving to Encinitas and am thrilled to have found Jen. I would have been in much sooner but the salon website lacks information or the feature of stylists' bios and specialties, the products the individual stylists use or sell and fee menu, something I always rely on in selecting top salon and stylist when I'm in a new area. Despite this, I took a chance and I phoned the salon and relied on reception to guide me to a blond specialist here and Jen was recommended. This is the type of salon anyone would enjoy spending time in - uncrowded, buoyant welcoming personalities, happy chatter, interesting architectural features, lots of light, high ceiling, breezy fresh air with open front door overlooking intersection on 101. Parking designated for the salon in the rear. Highly recommend!"
